Now waitaminute. I’m glad you posted because l didn’t know what “Unrealized Gains” tax was. Did they implement this in MN? I don’t understand how it’s supposed to work if you cash out an eventual profit that has already been taxed? And what if you profit for a few years and then lose your ass by the time you sell it? Do you get a refund? This all seems complicated and bullshitlike. And holy shit you’re from MN, did you give your insiders commentary on Tim Walz? Also the capital gains rate proposed increase is a major fuck you. The reason why the capital gains rate is lower is to promote people investing in real estate and markets, and it works, so you get more people investing in stuff, so to more than double the rate now is just going to screw people who invested because of the lower tax rate.
