Back in the day - stationed at Wright-Pat - in the early seventies - dayton was a sewage hole. I tended to go out of town a lot. When I first got there, I rented a room from a lady with a son - the first week I was there, I found my tires were slashed - the lady said they thought I was a policeman - she took the sign down before letting me know.
