Browns149
I haven’t seen anything posted about this. The issue was soundly defeated. I was wonder what people thought about this? As someone who doesn’t live in Ohio anymore, it didn’t really affect me, but if it would’ve passed, it would’ve set a very dangerous precedent IMO Good thing the people in Ohio saw it for what it was

Jax
If you listen to the right 'journalist', they'll preach about dangerous precedents and most don't know what they're parroting.

calfoxwc
So, I still have a few questions - the commercial voting NO on issue one - how the hell does making it harder to change our Constitution "take away our freedoms" ???? and how would it passing cut our Constitution in two with scissors? Where did you get that number? If you search the topic, this is what comes up How many states require a supermajority to amend state constitution? Of the 18 states that permit the state constitution to be amended through the initiative process, only one state requires all initiative constitutional amendments to be approved by a supermajority in all circumstances.
