I lost my mother in March of 2012 to Leukemia 🙏  during her 2nd battle 💔

It's been like some weird mothers after gift ? 🎁 Saving the heart-n-soul of my Browns Brother returning today ? 🧡

I surely didn't miss Jim's radio to TV merge today !

Deserving  🏈 !

Continue Good Health, Browns-brother Jim Donovan !

About ten years ago I was working in downtown Akron and my coworker says "Jimmy Donovan!", I turn around from the back of our work truck and there's Jim Donovan, with his wife and daughter. Kind of weird when you run into someone you've seen for years upon years on TV, but in person.

We've been blessed with some great announcers in this town. Tait for the Cavs, Chandler, Coleman and Donovan for the Browns, Hamilton for the Indians/Guardians.

That is so true !  We have been absolutely spoiled by some of the  best  in the business ......  both radio and TV,  INDIANS, BROWNS  and CAVALIERS !

We are so glad Jim D.  is back where he belongs ..... behind the mic.

ESPNs Chris Mortensen passed away today, at age 72.

That's sad!  I always thought he did a good job; and I always got the impression he was well respected.

It looked staged and poorly acted. Safe bet Jim knew the call was coming. Camera in his face and all.

I love Jim Donovan though. He is literally in my top 3 of voices l love hearing coming out of a radio. He’s truly special man, one of the best that ever was imo. I loved hearing him call games. He was on point and enthusiastic and genuine, he enunciated near Alex Trebek levels, and his voice was quite frankly pleasing to listen to.

Phil “the human battering ram” Dawson is great in his own right. My favorite kicker ever.

As a Cleveland sports fan, I can honestly say we've been blessed with some phenomenal radio guys for all the teams. Joe Tait was obviously a legend for the Cavs, and I really enjoyed Nev Chandler and Casey Coleman along with Donovan of course. Some of our older fans here remember Gib Shanley fondley I'm sure. Herb Score literally was the voice of summer for me growing up, and I'll fight anyone anywhere that Tom Hamilton is the best baseball radio announcer anywhere.

I kind of wish I was going to the game this Sunday to see him get inducted, but then again, getting all weepy in public sucks.

I have a high opinion of Hamilton, and you may be right now that Marty Brenneman has retired, haha. Marty got pretty crotchety in his old age so Hamilton’s probably had the edge the better part of the last decade.

We   INDIANS / GUARDIANS  / BROWNS / CAVS  fans have had some great  radio & TV  announcers for a long time.

SO  we should look aread & look back at those great moments.
