DeSantis Vs Trump poll

In writer Salena Zito’s Fake News “puff piece” about DeSantis, which supposedly appeared in the dying New York Post, which is way down in readership just like FoxNews is way down in Ratings, why doesn’t she mention that he wants to cut Social Security & Medicare, loves losers like Jeb Bush, Paul Ryan, and Karl Rove, and it getting CLOBBERED in the polls by me. DeSantis is a RINO who is trying to hide his past. I don’t read the New York Post anymore. It has become Fake News, just like Fox & WSJ!

Fox News, once again, dominated the cable news rankings in 2022. This time, however, it was The Five, not Tucker Carlson Tonight, which averaged the largest total audience on cable news with 3.42 million viewers at 5 p.m. The Five’s first place finish in 2022 marks the first time a non-primetime program was the most-watched show for a calendar year in cable news history.

Tucker Carlson Tonight ranked No. 2 in total viewers in 2022 (3.3 million), ahead of third-place Jesse Watters Primetime (2.86 million), the network’s newest offering. Hannity, meanwhile, dropped to No. 4 in total viewers, averaging 2.81 million in 2022. Hannity had been the the most-watched show on cable news from 2017-2020.

Overall, Fox News is home to nine of the 10 most-watched cable news shows of 2022, with MSNBC’s 9 p.m. hour falling to No. 10 after a fourth place finish in 2021. Rachel Maddow‘s move from daily to weekly put a substantial dent in the network’s primetime ratings. However, MSNBC was still able to beat rival CNN in the hour. The latter has still not named a permanent 9 p.m. host.

Speaking of CNN, Anderson Cooper 360 remained the network’s most-watched show, having averaged 868,000 total viewers in 2022 (No. 23 overall).

Below, the full regularly-scheduled weekday cable news ranker for 2022 (per Nielsen live plus same day data), sorted by average total viewers.

@DieHardBrownsFan1 obviously Trump is full of shit. He's always full of shit. It's hilarious.

And those rating make sense. More old folks are watching TV. Old folks are more likely conservative. Slea sense the highest rated "news" shows are conservative.

Even if Fox lawyers would tell you Tucker clearly isn't news and obviously shouldn't be trusted.

Even if texts from Fox personalities show they clearly knew the fraud claims were fake but put deniers on to help ratings.

Just warping the minds of some very fragile individuals...

Oh I see, you aren't following along / don't understand the hilarity.

Well, Trump was the god king of conservatives for years. He got there by being an ass, but they loved him for it, cuz he was an ass to people they didn't like. Some supporters even did the mental gymnastics to think he cares about Christianity or the working folk. Funny stuff.

Well, Trump became a loser (even though many believers, including some here, even if they won't admit it now, think he didn't lose). His antics wore thin and now he isn't exiting gracefully. He's flailing around.

The once "best president ever" is now taking cheap shots at anyone he perceives as a threat. His loyal followers walking back their support and trying to rewrite history.

I don't care at all what is actually in that "truth". What fool would believe a damn thing Trump says? Only an absolute moron.

The point is the civil war brewing among conservatives. Seeing who can outdo who. While the loyal fangirls dance around it.

It's pretty damn entertaining. I hope we get them both up on a debate stage.

Trump edges DeSantis, Biden remains underwater: Where the 2024 race stands in polls on Presidents Day 2023

Three months into the 2024 White House race, former President Donald Trump remains the front-runner in the hunt for the GOP presidential nomination, according to an average of the latest public opinion surveys.

And as President Biden moves closer to the likely launch of a 2024 re-election campaign, his standing with Americans remains in negative territory after slipping underwater a year and a half ago, according to a key polling metric.

Typical Woody.

Um...Did it ever occur to you that perhaps FOX lawyers said that or were legally obligated to say that because Tucker is a political commentator, not a news reporter?

Now go and make sure you don't miss Don Lemon, Van Jones or Racheal Maddow....all proven liars.

Also, the age demographics are not much different between FOX and the two fake news networks.

In recent years, the median age of viewers who watch the big three cable news networks — CNN, Fox News Channel and MSNBC — has been in the 60s, an audience that television news industry analyst Andrew Tyndall calls positively “geriatric.” At MSNBC, the median age this year has been 68, four years older than CNN

To further debunk your misinformation:

When it came to the advertiser-coveted demographic of adults age 25-54, Fox News also topped MSNBC and CNN combined. Fox News averaged 228,000 demo viewers compared to 122,000 for CNN and only 83,000 for MSNBC.

I think Trump will drop out of the race.  He has no chance to win a second term.

It really depends on what lengths the democrats we'll do to deep 6 the economy before the election. Democrats will probably pull a featherman and keep Joe Biden away from microphones and cameras until the day of the election.

And use covid or some other phony disease to allow them to tear up the election rules.

If the republicans plan to put another 10 rhinos into the primary he could easily take the nomination.

You didn't debunk anything haha.

Your quote says that cable news viewers are mostly old. Older folks are mostly conservative. Hence Fox news having the largest ratings.

Based on the viewership overall those "younger" viewer amounts are damn near statistically insignificant.

Yes, I'm sure Tucker starts his show each night by reminding his viewers nothing he's saying is actually the news, you can't trust him at all, and none of it should be considered fact. Riiiiight. The lawyers did what they had to in order to try and save Fox's ass.

And now Dominion is suing them for an absurd amount, and it's become fact what every sane person has always known: It's all one big right wing grift. There is no easier grift than the MAGA/conservative one. They presented "election fraud" bullshit every night and the whole time they knew it was bullshit, but they wanted to keep their ratings up. Unfortunately a large portion of our country, and plenty of morons in this forum, actually believed it.

FOX news has the highest ratings because no one watches CNN or MSNBC the epitome of fake news.

It may also surprise you that more demonrats watch Tucker that they watch CNN.

You're really reaching this time dude.

Why should he? It's pretty self-evident it's gonna be a commentary. He chooses a news topic and provides a commentary. If agree fine, if you don't then take a hike.

So where exactly do you find fault with Tuckers commentary here?

Oh the outrage spewing from your side that those Republicans are still unable to elect the Speaker of the House.

Fox news has the highest ratings because they're a conservative news network, cable news viewers are older, and older folks are more likely conservative. This isn't rocket science

Though the propaganda and grifting, even when they all know it's BS (now proved I'm court docs) doesn't hurt

And judging the legitimacy of a platform based on cable news viewership is idiotic

Fox News has the highest rating for just about the same reason as the Donald Trump polls so well among other Republican candidates.

It is the only major conservative outlet. Oh I know there's OAN and NewsMax et cetera et cetera but those aren't really legit. Or at least not as legit. Among the left leaning news outlets are all the major networks all the major newspapers, almost, PBS, CNN,MSNBC.

Each of the liberal outlets has its own audience so it necessarily waters down the viewership for each one.

What's hilarious is that you omitted CNN, MSNBC, ABC from that "fake news" group. Try to be fair and balanced.

C'mon man. Desantis had "once expressed" support for privatizing SS....that was 2012. As did Biden ...once. Maybe twice.

Here we go again...libs gotta find that opening! Even if it was in 2012.

Ron DeSantis once expressed support for privatizing Social Security and Medicare giving his rivals an opening - CNNPolitics

Take note that the liar you voted for has been trying to sell to the American people the lie that the GOP aims to take away Social Security.

The irony in this is you cry about Trump being a liar as you embrace a lie to support your claim.

Trump will be the fastest to "lame duck" status in history if elected. Like the Bushes, Clinton's, Obama, he had his turn.

I could get behind him in the Commerce Cabinet position. That's where his policies seemed to shine the brightest.
