yes, Baker isn't perfect. But Goff was often injured. and Stafford was seriously injured. Google their injures. I believe Stafford has avoided spinal injury surgery. Yes, Baker makes mistakes. So

well, there are plenty of fans who have disowned the Browns after that stupid trade.

Anyways, the panthers have not been right on offense since 2018, when Cam Newton ran a lot - but got injured. Darnold - injured. Walker - injured. Baker - injured. and that is with a dramatically changed oline. They run block well, pass protection - nope. Having a "run first" offense - why trade for Baker? or have Walker on the roster? Darnold struggled and he was more a "run first" offense guy.

Like the Broncos having a dozen or more? qb's - and Russell Wilson is struggling a lot, too.

Good question, I'll try to answer.

Probably to divide and distract "we the people" and create apathy. An apathetic society can be run over. 

Personally, I didn't like the trade but my love affair with the Browns is strong. I stayed with 'em  (just like many many fans) after bone head draft picks, stupid FA acquisitions, etc. I don't think I'll go to hell over rooting for the Browns with Watson, or without. 

I've been debating canceling my season tickets, but I'm going to see how these last 6 games go. On that note, I do think the NFL's season ticket policy of sending in your $$ before the draft is BS.
