I guess Cheetos should have given him a blanket pardon.

Jesse Benton convicted of steering Russian Roman Vasilenko's money to Trump - The Washington Post

A Republican political strategist was convicted of illegally helping a Russian businessman contribute to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in 2016.

Jesse Benton, 44, was pardoned by Trump in 2020 for a different campaign finance crime, months before he was indicted again on six counts related to facilitating an illegal foreign campaign donation. He was found guilty Thursday on all six counts.

Elections “reflect the values and the priorities and the beliefs of American citizens,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Michelle Parikh said in her closing argument this week. “Jesse Benton by his actions did damage to those principles.”

Trump and his band of thieves and their $ multi million money grabs running into the $ hundreds of millions of totally illegal cash.

But that is the proven style of one Mr DJT in his ongoing tax and other cases going on now.  This is NOT the Democrats after Trump its the IRS, swindled banks and a list of other people and businesses that DJT has screwed.

" TRUMP:  The Art of the Deal"  1987 a 4½ star rating.     I remember reading that when I was just out of grad school about a million years ago,  I found it in a discounted paperback,  you know when they would tear off the cover so it's no longer saleable by book stores.  I think I paid about $1 for it, my art of the deal.  As I remember I wasn't all that impressed with it.  But still for sale at Amazon,  hardcover $16.69   -or-   my style used from $1.79.   I've got some beautiful used HC books that way, a lot of cookbooks.

★★  I might give Trump another look.....how about you Trump fans, are you interested ???   I've looked it up for you.   ;)

Entertainer/Businessman and Malaysian Financier Indicted for Conspiring to Make and Conceal Foreign and Conduit Contributions During 2012 U.S. Presidential Election | OPA | Department of Justice

According to the indictment, between June 2012 and November 2012, Low directed the transfer of approximately $21,600,000 from foreign entities and accounts to Michel for the purpose of funneling significant sums of money into the United States presidential election as purportedly legitimate contributions, all while concealing the true source of the money.  To facilitate the excessive contributions and conceal their true source, Michel paid approximately $865,000 of the money received from Low to about 20 straw donors, or conduits, so that the straw donors could make donations in their names to a presidential joint fundraising committee.  In addition, Michel personally directed more than $1 million of the money received from Low to an independent expenditure committee also involved in the presidential election in 2012.

Eight people, including a longtime political networker and a CEO, have been indicted on charges of funneling money illegally into Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and other political groups.

George Nader, who has for decades hobnobbed with political elites and became a key Mueller cooperator, and Allied Wallet CEO Ahmad “Andy” Khawaja are accused of sending millions to political committees and hiding Nader as its source, with Nader allegedly reporting to a Middle Eastern government on the effort.

Um.

There's no need to take a second look at Trump.  Aside from your startling revelation being as old dirt and already discussed repeatedly here,...(See Hoota, he can confirm).. how exactly did Trumps questionable business dealings as a private citizen adversely affect this nation and his record as president?  Give examples.

You need to keep your TDS in check and be more concerned with Joe Biden, while as an elected public servant abused his position for personal gain.

Did Obama pardon him?

Not sure how showing another indicted Trump advisor strengthen your case.

George Nader, Beavis.

Trump Jr. and Other Aides Met With Gulf Emissary Offering Help to Win Election - The New York Times (nytimes.com)

Report on the Investigation into Russian Interference in the 2016 Presidential Election (justice.gov)

You know the guy that was part of the "adoption" Trump tower meeting. It's really funny that guys going on and on about the "Russia hoax", never bother to read the Mueller report. It's like you just believe whatever your cult leader tells you.

Three months before the 2016 election, a small group gathered at Trump Tower to meet with Donald Trump Jr., the president’s eldest son. One was an Israeli specialist in social media manipulation. Another was an emissary for two wealthy Arab princes. The third was a Republican donor with a controversial past in the Middle East as a private security contractor.

The meeting was convened primarily to offer help to the Trump team, and it forged relationships between the men and Trump insiders that would develop over the coming months — past the election and well into President Trump’s first year in office, according to several people with knowledge of their encounters.

Erik Prince, the private security contractor and the former head of Blackwater, arranged the meeting, which took place on Aug. 3, 2016. The emissary, George Nader, told Donald Trump Jr. that the princes who led Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates were eager to help his father win election as president. The social media specialist, Joel Zamel, extolled his company’s ability to give an edge to a political campaign; by that time, the firm had already drawn up a multimillion-dollar proposal for a social media manipulation effort to help elect Mr. Trump.

So you have no problems with Cheetos pardoning a guy who gave him money from Russia. Is that correct?

Strike two. I never made a case for defending Trumps pardon.

Now run along.
