I'd Venture that that harm will take a while to heal. Unfortunately this happens across the board. One group of people is more violent commits more crimes full short in the education department just lower the standard and the problem magically disappears. It does not. We should expect more, not less from our educational system. It sure seems that way. Decriminalizing shoplifting assault drug use drug dealing and prostitution and then bragging that you've lowered the crime rate.
