That article states that China is going to be the top dog, but not about how they got there. Only thing mentioned was strict lockdowns...

You need to look at the big picture. You won't. So who cares. If you're too stupid to see that empires rise and fall then carry on Pollyanna. If you care to do anything but gripe you can easily look up the changing tide of world powers over the last two or three hundred years. But no problem America's going to be on top for eternity.

And I'm not saying that your boy is the sole cause of the Chinese take over but he certainly isn't helping. And just like everywhere else throughout time children born into a world dominated by the Chinese will not do any difference and grandparents telling them history will just be fairy tales.

One could argue that sentiment is the reason why our federal deficit is as huge as it is and continues to grow. Why should the Boomer's care how big the deficit gets if they're going to be dead before the bill comes due? After all, they won't be around to pay for the continued kicking of the can down the road; let their children's and grandchildren's generation deal with the results of the Boomer's poor fiscal decision.

Sure one certainly could. If, of course, one was just looking for somebody to blame. When I see the other Generations doing something about it rather than point fingers I will put more stock in to that theory. I don't think it's the Boomers, though, who put Joe Biden into office and his merry band of socialists and their policies that fuel the free shit express as they give the Weimar Republic a run for their money.
