Apple plans to install new software to inspect everyone's photos on their phones

I heard about this - here's my thoughts.

Nobody around this board would object to Apple looking for child porn.

and turning any they find over to the authorities.

Although, with the power to do that, which is a great thing..........

they would also have the power to look for pictures of guns.

and airplanes say, at the Air Force Museum in Dayton Oh.

and, pictures of a confederate flag. and...pictures of hunting and fishing.

and, pictures of your food and water storage if the SHTF.

and any conservative protest rally.  and it would give them the power to

use it to say so and so is/are terrorists. or, to find who has guns and seize them.

Or, to establish demographic studies on where the most gun owners are.

etc.

I have a software on my phone - I can take a picture of a plant or a tree - and it tells me in about one or two seconds

exactly what the name of the plant/tree is.

That is amazing. Imagine walking through an airport and a picture of you says your name is the same name

as a wanted terrorist. Feel like being arrested on vacation? God help you if you are a conservative, outspoken politician.

Maybe they put a photo on your phone then. Along with the newest version of the IOS.

The fbi, cia, nsa, irs, doj etc have been weaponized, why not your phones?

All in the name of legit reason of course. But does the legit reason open Pandora's Box?

What could go wrong, eh?

think the obaMao/biden left won't use it as a weapon? Oh, btw, add "DHS" to the list of depts that are compromised by the deep state

DHS List of Terror ‘Threats’ Should Raise All Kinds of Eyebrows

"

The bulletin is part of a concerted effort by DHS to address the issues that led up to January 6 and the beginning of an effort by the department to educate the public about how these false narratives and conspiracy theories “are not just confusing but dangerous,” according to a source familiar.

You’re not allowed to have those thoughts.

Then the NBC piece notes there are concerns about the 9/11 anniversary and “religious holidays,” without defining what “religious holidays” we’re talking about here. What they’re looking at here, without NBC saying it, I think, is radical Islamic terrorism. That’s what the Yahoo News article on the advisory suggests.
