They can finance anything they want - nukes, etc etc etc - if they get access to controlling the finances of an entire country. and instead of living on the outskirts of civilization, they could live in nice fancy office hotels like saddam did. On the flip side - Somalia is already a hotbed of that. So is Yemen. If Afghanistan falls, so will Iraq eventually. Russia and china would love to have the taliban take both - they can use the taliban as a third party weapon, like Iran uses hezbollah. Inevitable, there will be a war to take out Israel and Jordan, and Oman and the UAE.... If anyone believes the taliban terrorists only want Afghanistan, and then all will be well, think again. And they would probably rather do it in a Paris (or Miami or London or Washington) hotel room than in a stinking third-world shithole like Afghanistan. Also if the scum in the Middle East decided they wanted to take out Israel Joe Biden would probably be right by their side leading the charge.
