The XL-Keystone pipeline has already spilled tar sand oil and the toxic chemicals required to make it pumpable a total of 21 times. Including an estimated 380,000 gallon spill in 2019 right in the wetlands the Dakota nation was concerned about protecting when they protested the permitting of the project.
