More Trump butt smooching from Red State?    I read the entire transcript too, and have a slightly different opinion.  For that matter, so does Larry Tribe- who also listened to it- one of the most respected Constitutional scholars. Couldn't believe what he was hearing, and said his jaw about hit the floor.  Essentially said Trump is up shit creek after that phone call.  Sited several instances- chapter and verse of the Federal Election Code that Trump violated. Even if he manages to get pardoned for Federal violations- there's nothing stopping Georgia from filing state election interference charges- and they're already looking into it.

If you want to call them "facts" and not distortions. He didn't listen to Gabe Sterling's press conference either- where Gabe systematically debunked every one of Trumps lies. There's a fact checker on CNN too- but Conspiracy Cal will just brush all that off as Fake News.

I'll get to my comment on George Will's OpEd in a separate post. But related to it- It's refreshing to read the comments (by the thousands) on articles that show up in the WaPo Tex. They're 180 degrees from the conspiracy crap that shows up here.    The important nugget is one of the posters over there pointed out (accurately I believe)- that because of his stress of losing the election he fantasizes he "won" is Trump has gone from plain old NPD to "malignant narcissism".
