calfoxwc
well, the worst that can happen, is we go through four destructive years of hell. That should get republicans taking over the House, the Senate and the WH all at the same time. Silver lining.

TexasAg1969
Good advice from Gen. Mattis in Foreign Affairs. Drop the "America First" turmpy BS. https://www.foreignaffairs.com/articles/united-states/2020-11-23/defense-depth "In January, when President Joe Biden and his national security team begin to reevaluate U.S. foreign policy, we hope they will quickly revise the national security strategy to eliminate “America first” from its contents, restoring in its place the commitment to cooperative security that has served the United States so well for decades. The best strategy for ensuring safety and prosperity is to buttress American military strength with enhanced civilian tools and a restored network of solid alliances—both necessary to achieving defense in depth. The pandemic should serve as a reminder of what grief ensues when we wait for problems to come to us."

Westside Steve
So allow me to step off the reservation again. Here's my guess, after all the Sound and Fury of the election I'm guessing the Alzheimer's patient in Chief will pretty much just a point an array establishment hacks. Probably the worst consequences will be from the flood of illegals but we know why the Democrats want them. The Europeans will pretend to love us again because the drunken Uncle Joe will open up his pocketbook for them. And of course will keep wasting money and lives to defend their miserable asses in NATO without asking them to pay up. Military assholes will probably be happy because they will be allowed to have more boots on the ground and places where we shouldn't have any boots at all. Regulations will just cost everybody a little bit more probably not enough to actually deep-six the economy. These establishment hacks probably aren't going to give anything substantial AOC or Maxine Waters. They will probably have to look a few black balls just because that's who put them where they are. The establishment really want us go off the deep end for the left a Joe, idiot that is, won't know the difference it probably won't even know what he's signing. I'm sure the regulations will slow down the recovery but hopefully not kill it. The Killer is going to be a bipartisan problem. Flushing 234 or however many it turns out to be a trillion dollars down the toilet is going to take its toll. WSS
