BTW if any of you don't have one, it is worth looking into. There are folks who can explain it all in detail and then assist you in getting it legally signed and placed in your records. In the VA you computerize the whole process and it pops up automatically when your electronic medical file is opened. That way you can actually specify while you are competent whether or not you even want to go on life support or make it even more specific, how long a stay on life support until they take you off. You get a copy yourself and if you appoint a health care Power of Attorney you give that appointed person a copy and discuss what you would want or not want done depending upon you medical state. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advance_healthcare_directive

"Life after 75" <> end of life nothin just because of age.
