Watching Biden is hilarious. Just remember, people are watching, and hearing, what he is saying, and still are going to vote for him (hundreds of thousands)

Same with Trump.

Over four million Americans to qualify for overtime pay if they work more than 40 hours a week under new rule by the Labor Department that raised the salary threshold from $23,660 to $47,476 per year

That was Obama

nope. obaMao proposed it, to get elected again...but Pres Trump got it done RESPONSIBLY. ObaMao's attempt at it was not workable, was an overreach for self-interest gain electorally, just like obaMaocare disaster.

https://www.npr.org/2019/09/24/763723397/1-3-million-more-workers-eligible-for-overtime-pay-but-some-say-rules-fall-short#:~:text=A long-awaited update to federal overtime rules means, they work more than 40 hours a week.

"The Obama administration sought to expand the number of workers eligible for overtime pay by raising the salary threshold. It proposed more than doubling it to about $47,000. A Texas judge struck that down. Instead, the Trump administration issued its own rule, setting the threshold to a lower level. "

"

"But employers are pleased with the lower threshold.

"Overall, our feeling is that this is a more workable approach," says Nancy Hammer, vice president of regulatory affairs for the Society for Human Resource Management. She notes that many employers already pay their workers overtime, even if not required by law.

Meanwhile, a growing number of states have, or are looking to, set their overtime rules above the new federal requirements."

Well seeing how this happened in 2016. He was in his last year of his second term. Not to get re-elected

getting higgardly elected, to cya out of a lot of them going to prison?

that is the self-interest - also, he wanted his changing of America to continue. His legacy is history, except for the division and violence and near civil war he fostered.

I only work with facts that I personally can speak to because I have seen or lived them, and not because someone told it to me..... but what do I know.

Anyway, my insurance premium for 3 went from $600 per month, to just under $1,200 per month when Obamacare was passed. My deductible tripled as did my co-pays.

^ Facts.

To those that work for a big employer that provides your health insurance, try to remember that there are a lot of us out there who don't..... but at least my price increase provided insurance to someone else who either doesn't want to work or is here illegally.

You said he did it to get re-elected.  That implies he did it  for himself. But don’t let the facts get in the way of your narrative

My wife has worked for the state of CA for about 19 months now so we are enjoying the benefit of 1st rate medical coverage for what I consider a reasonable price.... it's really the only reason she's working.

Many of my friends who are contractors are in the same boat as me. Either they pay out the cornhole or their wives work just to basically provide health care..... shitty state of affairs either way.

not brave enough to be Kavanaughed/Anti-Trumped/Barretted. We all took this test in hs back in the day, and it said what 3 careers we should consider.

My three were politician, author and lawyer. Maybe I should have been all three, but I loved computer programming.
