My concern is with the Democratic party caving in to the Leftist extremists, the Republican party will do the same with fanatical alt right types in return, and will leave the majority of the American people without adequate representation. If I thought it was feasible for a third-party moderate to win maybe I'd have a different opinion. But I think most people would probably classify themselves middle to slightly right of middle. So the middle slightly right candidate Pastor battle the left-wing lunatics and the right-wing near lunatics. That means he splits the vote with the right-wing near lunatics and the left-wing lunatics wind up winning the election. They're for the winning candidate is guaranteed to be the minority player.
