As long as they aren't skewing the message, you can't realistically punish them.  After reelection, Trump doesn't need Twitter anymore, why do this?  You're fighting censorship with censorship.  It just isn't the right thing to do here.

Trump isn't fighting this, he just gave the power back to the people, as he said he was going to do.

He took away the protection from these Media Monsters that they've had.

Now people can SUE them for defamation, loss of Business/Income, etc.

I know of several people that use their Twitter/Facebook accounts for Business.

By these @$$holes nuking their account due to bias, they have not only infringed on the 1A Rights of these people, they've impaired/interfered with their Business.

More than one US Constitutional Amendment can apply in these cases.

Have you looked at Twitter stock the past few days ?

Big Money knows they are toast.

There are Lawsuits lined up on this in the Billions - Twitter can't do that, and they've got other issues as well coming (Child Porn/Trafficking, etc).

The point is, if you paid attention, you knew this was coming and how it's going to play out.

You obviously never paid attention, or just don't care, so as far as you're concerned it's all irrelevant - ergo keep me on ignore.

When social media starts censoring only one side, only one president, they are no longer a "social media", but they become

a platform that is not protected under the law. It's their choice. They chose wrongly.

and woodpecker, you're usual stupid birdbrain statement - you are fine with censoring a statement like "gays are sinners"... is typically mindnumbed.

"unignored us"

lol.

liar woodpecker.

Mmmhmm, yes, Q always knew and Q knows what's going to happen next definitely. If you say enough shit, and then never have anyone follow up, you can claim whatever you want.

Again, Trump wasn't censored. I don't think you know what that word means.

You said "they are no longer a 'social media'". Alright, then what does it mean to be a "social media"?

What protections do they have under the law, what will they no longer have, and why do they no longer have them?

Where is Twitter obligated to be politically neutral?

They have a terms of service. They aren't run by the government.

... Did you already forgot I was just posting tweets Trump made where he was bragging about his IQ? The thing you're raging against is exactly what he did. My posts were to make that point

Who am I kidding? Of course you don't get it. I should have realized that was going to be list on you. Your brain doesn't understand how to function in the area between black and white.

Claims are being made and they aren't being backed up. Posters are ranting and raving about Twitter because Trump is mad at them. And if Trump doesn't like something you'll blindly hate it like a good little dog.

I'm pretty convinced Trump has no idea what 230 is.

those were reposted, birdbrain, not the same thing as doing your own research.

If I respected you a little bit, I'd upgrade you to a dodo.

Dodo

Bird
Dodo
The dodo is an extinct flightless bird that was endemic to the island of Mauritius, east of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean. The dodo's closest genetic relative was the also-extinct Rodrigues solitaire, the two forming the subfamily Raphinae of the family of pigeons and doves. The closest living relative of the dodo is the Nicobar pigeon. A white dodo was once thought to have existed on the nearby island of Réunion, but this is now thought to have been confusion based on the Réunion ibis and paintings of white dodos. They are believed to have become extinct due to a lack of intelligence, and an inherent instinct to pick fights with  bigger, far older and smarter animals.

I know you were referring to Woody. But My opinion is Twitter could go away tomorrow, and I'd never miss it. Only time I ever see anything is when Tweets get pulled off of it and posted here.

I'd say if this was the Browns Forum, you'd be getting warning points... I take a dim view of constant personal insults...

then go back and read back a few years, buster - he's ridiculed me constantly a lot. I've given him plenty of times, MANY TIMES, to knock it off. He's called me everything he could think of, which isn't all that much of a vocabulary. I figured you were only here because he whined to you about me and others? being "hostile" to poor little woodpecker.

I give him crap because that is mostly all I've ever gotten from him, and you can ask around. I've told him that in the past. He just kept starting the belittling garbage every time we ? post anything he can find some way to dislike, which is pretty much anything.

You're his sympathy friend, you tell him to knock it off, and he will stop being getting back what he dishes out. You watch. Ask Steve, he's been around a long time. I finally got fed up with it, and nicknamed him "woodpecker" because he smarts off and ridicules conservatives like a woodpecker pecks trees....

if he doesn't want insults, then he should knock it off with the insulting.

btw... taking the liberal side is what obaMao always did, just sayin.

Is Twitter a publisher or platform is the question.

I don't do Twitter so if they did away with it wouldn't bother me a bit.

Don't either. Only 7% of the population actually use Twitter the last time I checked...which was just now.

Of those the majority are young, liberals, and scum... a social media cesspool.

I don't know why President Trump even bothers with it. TDS isn't going away.

Between all of the insults and everything else, still no actual defense of this.

Twitter has a terms of service. They are in their right to do this.

Trump has a right to go to another social media site. His first amendment rights aren't being infringed in anyway. His tweets are still easily accessible and he isn't being censored. One extra click isn't suppression.

He got mad, because he is an egotistical baby, and went after Section 230 just because he knows Twitter doesn't want him to. That's it. It was just petty retaliation.

What does he want changed in 230? That if a site does any moderation at all they're considered a publisher? Ok then social media sites won't censor anything, it'll be the wild west, and a bunch of terrible shit will get posted.

Or does he want to mandate they're all publishers no matter what? Then most sites are going to shut down out of fear of being sued because they won't have the resources to moderate anything. And if they can moderate, they'll be incredibly restrictive. Hell, that would mean most of Trump's tweets would get blocked. Does he not realize that?

Pigeons with 'Make America Great Again' hats glued to their heads ...

Shoot yourself in the foot much? Pigeons are way smarter than woodpeckers. Woodpeckers only have hard heads.

Pigeons are considered to be one of the most intelligent birds on the planet and able to undertake tasks previously thought to be the sole preserve of humans and primates. ... The pigeon can also recognize all 26 letters of the English language as well as being able to conceptualize.

It's become evident that the IQ of a pigeon is higher than the people you side with.

What actions do you want Trump to take against Twitter and why do you feel he is justified in those actions?

There, easy enough.

If your insistence that Trump is not being censored is truth, then Trump shouldn't to do anything.

If censoring is what is going on here, then he should do everything in his power to stop it.

Easy enough.

Weapoizing the office for personal vendetta quite blatantly... Is never a good idea.

Yes, Cal... Obama and the IRS blah blah blah.

You're really equating the two aren't you?

Weaponizing a government bureaucracy against conservative organizations for political gain is on par with Trumps acting on what he believes is censorship? Why not throw in the Russian Collusion conspiracy in place of "blah blah  blah"?

Yeah Trump has an ego, and you may be right about his "personal vendetta", but what you false equivalency knuckleheads are forgetting here is that his actions towards clamping down against censorship benefits everyone, not just Trump.
