And perhaps the perception that Meyer wants to coach again....but not in college. He was already at the pinnacle of college coaching positions...why take a step back to that. On to the NFL is his only way to "step up". But who knows if that would work. Although....once upon a time there was a guy that stepped up form OSU to the Cleveland Browns, and that worked out fairly well.....a guy named Paul Brown. (though yes....there was a military post in between. Great Lakes)

CLEVELANDwantsPLAYOFFS
I’ve been hoping for this to happen for years.
Unsympathetic
Urban's offenses at OSU and Florida consisted of mostly QB runs, and his ideal QB's are too small and inaccurate for the NFL. I don't think this would work, especially with the Browns already possessing NFL talent at the QB and RB position.
CLEVELANDwantsPLAYOFFS
He also had Tim Tebow drafted in the first round..
SdBacker80
OSU was so disorganized during his last couple years. I’m not for it. and then you have to revamp his offensive scheme. its a NO hopefully
CLEVELANDwantsPLAYOFFS
OSU is completely stacked now and you don’t think Meyer has anything to do with it?
Bob806
I seriously doubt a guy with heart problems would want to go to the NFL, especially here with the prima donnas on the roster. If he does come here, we'd win but he wouldn't last long. He'd burn out like Vermeil did in Philly.

Well the key there is that Meyer is coach would not be doing any recruiting. That would be holy up to Dorsey and personnel department. Free agents would potentially want to come here. Opposed to coming to a team where it seems the HC struggles to manage the game/team. Health. 2. Desire to continue coaching. 3. Need? He's pretty well set now. Urban Meyer Net worth 2019: $30 Million. Urban Meyer is one of the successful coached of all the time. Over two decades of a coaching career, he has accumulated a high salary as a coach. Urban Meyer net worth of $30 million, as of 2019. He makes an annual salary of $5.8 million. Other than dak being an ideal qb for urban's power spread and Urban's love of zeke. Not too mention Jerry will be willing to pay more.
