He lost a squeaker and it was likely only as close as it was due to Trump's support.

Trump was able to lift him up to almost dead even with the dem but couldn't quite drag him over the finish line. More concerning for republicans is the democrat sweep in Virginia. Missing Votes ? 15,391 fewer voted for Secretary of State While : 42,129 fewer voted for Auditor That should be re-canvass. Bevin was still an unpopular Governor, and KY has never re-Elected a R Gov. As for Virginia, it's basically Swamp suburbs, plus this didn't help :
calfoxwc
and the federal NEA, I take it. State legislatures contribute about $10 million a year to NCSL. Most of the remainder comes from grants from federal agencies such as the federal Departments of Health and Human Services, Education, Energy, and Transportation. heh. I wonder what state legistlatures give to the NCSL? don't know, but they keep track of republican/democrat control in nearly? every state: http://www.ncsl.org/research/about-state-legislatures/partisan-composition.aspx and... say, looks like a serious politcal data weapon, right? For Chic Fil A to drop two very good Christian org such as the Salvation Army and Christian athletes because of their biblical views of traditional marriage is a sad cave to the militant left. The Salvation Army does not discriminate in whom they give help and aid and that is all that should matter. But that is not enough for the militant left. Nothing less than forced submission of acceptance of something the bible clearly calls sin is what they demand. This controversy will not end until the Lord returns as there will always be a remnant faithful to the word of God and will not bow their knee at the altar of political correctness. I for one am happy to be in that remnant.

I for one am happy to be in that remnant. Just for the record I never gave up eating at Chic-Fil-A which is locally owned by a veteran who goes out of his way to feed every veteran and his family members on Veterans Day evening for free. Good people. Don't know anything about Christian Athletes, but Salvation Army does not discriminate when to comes to helping people in need. I referred people to them many times over the years when I was working. I don't know why anyone would protest about Salvation Army and their good works. Always drop money in the buckets next to the bell ringers at Xmas time. It goes for a good cause IMO.
calfoxwc
actually, we don't use the Salvation Army, we go to a local place that does the same thing, but the money stays locally. and they also employ the disabled. too.
