The Gipper
Cannot believe that this subject did not get posted previously. Jim Houston, long time Browns LB......passed away last week or so. In fact, it may be said that Jim Houston is the best LB the Browns have ever had. At least he would be in the discussion along with Clay Matthews. He was the leader on defense of the 1964 Browns Championship team https://www.clevelandbrowns.com/news/cleveland-browns-mr-dependable-jim-houston-passes-away

Not a bunch of prima donnas A lot of them had second jobs and families not 5 cars two houses and are set for life with their signing bonuses. I remember him I used to collect football and baseball cards back then, from Massillon to OHIO STATE to the BROWNS in the first round. MAY HE RIP. Tour2ma
Good Brown for a long time... Unfortunately my most vivid memory of him was him getting KO'd by Vikings QB, Joe Kapp in a playoff game.
Guest
I met him a few years back at a Browns Backers event at the stadium, he was signing autographs, was very nice with the fans that day. As a player, his career was winding down as I was becoming a fan, but I certainly do remember him. And his football cards: His older brother, Lin was a guard with the Otto Graham era Browns, Jim spoke highly of him that day. Zombo
