I mean it's just a fluke thing...if he didn't twist himself to track the dudes legs, he misses the tackle. Maybe I need to see more angles. Browns been tackling so clean tho. That's on Williams for sure. He prob doesn't need to blow up a rookie like that who actually dove his sht in. Lot's of secondary players fag out for the ankles and dudes just hurdle them. Kept his head up too, tracked his legs. 99 out of 100 times that tackle doesn't hurt the tackler. It's just the fluke way he twisted that's all. I think Mr. 1-31 (I think you just said he blows in another thread) should be listening to his coffee fetchers. For the record <again> both Williams and Haley have better records as Head Coaches than Huey. Jackson keeps it up- he's going to be the one sitting on the couch having coffee and doughnuts, watching Haley or Williams run the team. Only reason he's still the head coach is Jimmy & Dee knew if they fired Hue after racking up the worst two season record in the history of the NFL- they might find a D III college coach willing to take the job for a year. There wouldn't have been a top coaching candidate worth a damn willing to take over if they knew they were going to get fired after a year or two. I'm not sure how many wins it will take for Hue to keep his job, but I damn guarantee you it's going to have to be way more than a couple.

Larry, if YOU owned the team then I could understand listening to you. You have always had this fantasy bullschidt belief that The HC, OC, and DC are all in the same boat, That the owner has not yet made up his mind and he has hired and OC and DC, so he can sit back and watch who among the three he is going to eventually let run his team. I was the very first to guarantee that Hue Jackson was a complete failure. I haven't budged from that, but THAT IS NOT THE ISSUE. Haslam is not going to fire Hue jackson. He WILL allow Jackson to fire Williams and Dinky-Dump. Dude, IF Hue was not IN with the Haslams, 1 -15 would have surely got him fired. 0- 16? 1 - 31? And you think 0 - 4 will get him fired? LMAO. Dude, Haslam's wife tells Jimmy what to do. SHe loves the black cause, she isn't going to let Hue go. Hue has already shown public indifference with his OC and DC. These conflicts you see, are moments of truth. When the team again blows, Hue will point to these moments when his coordinators were bucking his system. Coordinators are coffee fetchers. Haslam sure as hell will fire Jackson if his record this year is lousy enough, only question would be when. I won't posit how many wins it will take for Hue to save his job, but the over\under is probably 6. I'm not buying your fantasy that somehow Hue has the Haslams hypnotized. You can only pass the buck and blame others for your failures for so long. Hue is out of mulligans- and he damn well knows it. When Hue was hired in 2016, he brought in his old pals Al Saunders, Pep Hamilton, and Ray Horton. His choice of assistants (BTW, every one of that staff is gone) was about as good as some of his player decisions like RG III, Kaiser Wilhelm, and trying to trade for McCarron. If you think Hue was solely responsible for hiring Williams and Haley- you've been smoking something. They were hired primarily if\when Hue screws up again there's an easy out to promote a quality interim coach. Finally- Hue firing one of his coordinators (incidentally, Haley is more fire proof than Hue this year) to save his sorry a-s-s if things go south would be the classic cut off your nose to spite your face, because it won't work, and Hue will be gone regardless. ballpeen
I don't look at it in terms of how many wins Hue needs. I look at it in terms of losses. If we lose double digit games, Hue better be fired. That is being fair. Personally I don't like Hue at all. He is a insecure little punk who I would have punked some time back. I just look at it as "If it was so and so ... ", like name a respected coach (Bill, Tomlin, McCarthy, Reid etc...) if they call out their DC then everybody goes "damn .... That's how good teams do it, the run a tight ship and keep their assistants in their place." But Ol 1-31 Hue does it to one of his Hard Knocks TV Star coordinators and it's "oh my gosh he looks like such an idiot ... " He looks like an idiot because he's 1-31. He has no choice but to act like a leader while he is the leader and tell guys to shut up and do things his way. If you're going to be the head coach, be the head coach. That's a different argument from whether he should be the head coach. Zombo
