Im not against propping up american farmers, what i personally am shaking my head about is that republicans bemoaned obamas bailouts but when trump threatened these tariffs anyone with the mildest of academic backgrounds could see this coming. And nice job picking up the MSNBC talking point by braying socialism socialism socialism. We've had Farm subsidies as long as any of us here can remember. The previous administrations have all whined and bitched about Chinese trade policy. They haven't seen any particular need to negotiate because there was no tough love.
