I think an apology for grabbing her arm too hard would have been the right thing to do instead of denying it outright that it even happened. He did grab her arm too forcefully and she had bruises on her arm. I think all she wanted was an apology all along and it would have been over. The reporter was working for Breitbart who has been in the tank for Trump all along and she was not some reporter from an unfriendly media. WSS It was obvious he grabbed her arm too forcefully. She had the bruising to prove it. He did not try to pull her to the ground (as she stated) he pulled her back. It could have been for security reasons. The campaign manager denied the incident even happened but it did. If all this reporter wanted was an apology and this whole thing would have gone away I think they should have given it to her. I'm looking forward to the circus media and trial. Yet all this negative attention could have been avoided with a simple apology instead of Trump campaign manager lying that he never touched this reporter. This reporter is not a gold digger looking for money. If she tries to get any money out of this then I will do a 180 turnaround and condemn her but all she wanted was an apology and what she got was she was told she was a liar. The video clearly showed the campaign manager was a liar because he said he never touched her and it shows him grabbing her by the arm and pulling her back. WSS I'm not a lawyer and there may be legal reasons the campaign manager would not want to admit to any wrong doing but when he said he never touched this reporter and she was delusional the video clearly shows he is lying. The video also shows the reporter exaggerating the story saying he tried to pull her down when he was pulling her away and back from Trump. This is a way bigger story than it should be. It was a fight that was unnecessary when a simple "sorry I grabbed your arm too tightly" would have probably made the whole thing go away. The entire episode looks like it called for, at most, a simple "Excuse me". I'm watching Morning Joe right now. Sam Stein is almost in tears ranting on about "blaming the victim" and reporters being treated badly. The media and the anti-Trump movement is all over this. As far as the reporter who sustained this violent assault, I tend to agree with WSS. This is a big story because of her initial "Did you see what he did? I've never been treated like this, etc., etc." MHO, she made this story all about her with her claims of "being pulled down and grabbed violently". I've watched the video several times and don't see anything violent occurring. A group of people moving through a crowded room, some jostling...again, somethingthat calls for nothing more than a simple "Excuse me". And then she resigned from Breitbart a couple of days later. On top of that, however, is the fact that like I said, the media hates Republicans and especially Trump. That's why be it here the network news Facebook, you name it, all you see is hyperventilating over these non-issues. Trump supporters can point to any number of his platforms on his website and most mainstream Americans wouldn't have a problem with them. But we never hear that. We hear fake stories about beating up some news bitch or hating women because he called Rosie O'Donnell a pig or one of his supporters punching a protester while he screamed f-bombs and flipped the bird. Also after every debate the new story is about the five second clip about finger size etcetera not really any of the substance that occurred. It's only partially because the media hates Trump which they do. It's probably mostly because people tune in to see hyperventilation over meaningless garbage. He has the most experience dealing with these hit jobs, they haven't even touched Kasich yet and Cruz has only gotten a fraction of it. You know if Cruz won they'd be coming back to the affairs, the Canadian born thing, lack of accomplishments, flip flops, and plenty of other things.
