The Gipper
Here is your question: Which NFL team this year will have the best set of "Triplets". i.e best QB/RB/WR combo. Yes, the Steelers do seem to have it with BR/Brown/Bell. Who else? Lets look at the other teams: Arizona: Palmer/Fitgerald....but no RB ATL: Ryan/Jones/.....rookie Tevin Coleman is slated as starting RB (he could be good) Balt: Flacco/Smith/Forsett? Buff: Taylor/Watkins/McCoy...if Tyrod any good, you never know Caro: Newton/Jon Stewart/....if Kelvin Benjamin were healthy...could have been OK Chicago: Cutler/Forte/Jeffrey....could be good on days Cutler is good.....which is 50/50 Cincy: Dalton/Jeremy Hill/AJ Green.......not bad on days Dalton is good Cleve.: McCown/Crowell and who?.... Dallas: Romo/Bryant.....but now with no RB with Murray gone ( Denver: Manning/CJ Anderson/Demarious Thomas.....in the running Detroit: Stafford/Johnson...and another rookie Ameer Abdullah. All depends on him..could be good Green Bay: Rodgers/Lacy/Cobb.....even with Cobb instead of Nelson....not a bad trio Houston: Hoyer/Alfred Blue/DeAndre Hopkins Indy: Luck/Gore/Andre Johnson (or TY Hilton). This could be super if Gore/Johnson in prime shape...they're not. Jags: Bortles/Yeldon/Robinson Some day maybe? Even this year? Could be...potential Chiefs: Smith/Charles/Maclin.....not too bad Miami: Tannehill/Miller/Jennings......not so good Minn: Twatwater/Peterson/Mike Wallace....also potential Pats: Brady/Blount/Edelman......can't discount them N.O.: Brees/Ingram/Colston....not too shabby NY Giants: Eli/Beckham/Rashard Jennings......not the proven RB NY Jets.: Fitzpatrick/Ivory/Marshall.....not scaring me Oak: Carr/Latavius Murray/Amari Cooper. QB/WR has potential....not sure about RB Phil: Bradford/DeMarco Murray/....and about 5 WRs all meh. The meh is the issue...but? Pitt: BR/Bell/Brown....leader in the clubhouse SD: Rivers/Melvin Gordon/Keenan Allen....could be good....again, if a rookie RB proves out Sea: Wilson/Lynch/Kearse not a bad group SFO: Kaepernick/Carlos Hyde/Torrey Smith or Anquan Boldin (Ratbird refugees a key) St. Louis: Foles/Tre Mason/Kenny Britt or Tavon Austin.....?? Tampa Bay: Winston/Doug Martin/Vincent Jackson or Mike Evans....could be good if Jameis is. Tennessee: Mariota/Bishop Sankey/Kendall Wright....Wadsworth kid Sankey makes it good!! Washington: Cousins/Alfred Morris/Pierre Garcon.....head scratcher Who do you think are say Top 5 Triplets of this group?
TexasAg1969
Tampa Bay has the twin towers to throw to, but do they still lack the pass blocking to protect famous Jameis? And Houston triplets will come off the defense, not the offense.
Tour2ma
Jordan Matthews is meh? 5. Brady and two guys... 4. Smith - Charles - Maclin 3. Tannehill - Miller - Landry or maybe Parker before year's end. 2. Rogers - Lacy - Cobb... Nelson raises them to top spot. 1. Ben - Bell - Brown Honorable mention: Carr - Murray - Cooper Obvious exclusion: Manning - Anderson - Thomas... probably crazy on many levels, but I am not seeing Kubiak-Manning combo working out... Obvious Exclusion II: Luck - Gore - Johnson/Hilton... probably completes the crazy...
