On another note, some instructor was teaching a NINE yr old kid how to shoot

How STUPID is that? A .22 should have been used. An UZI ? Where is the common sense on that???

The stupidity has to do with him allowing a nine year old girl with absolutely no training to handle an Uzi on full automatic. You gun guys know what happens when you rapid fire on full auto.

The parents and the instructor were dumb as hell for putting that little girl behind the trigger of a full auto Uzi. Now the instructor is dead and a little girl has to live with having accidentally killed someone.

Im for citizens having rights to bare arms, but no 9 yo needs to be around a gun. Kids make well intended mistakes all the time. Its a recipe for disaster. A former acquaintance of mine got his knee blown apart when his son (5yo) shot him with his 410 accidentally. Fucking idiot.

Yeah, it's stupid. I've worked with kids, friends asked me, and I taught them gun safety til they

were blue in the face and beyond....

 

but an air rifle, or maybe for a 11 or 12 yr old.

 

The most gun would be a .22, single shot. But he was an idiot, alright, sickeningly stupid and irresponsible.

My 8 yr old can shoot a bolt action single shot .22 - with me helping her hold/aim it.

 

Unfathomable for me to think about handing her a full auto, semi-auto anything.
