Kvoethe
Browns' Buster Skrine 'week-to-week' following thumb surgery Aug 18 2014, 5:56 PMCaitlyn Holroyd The Cleveland Browns could be without cornerback Buster Skrine for the remainder of the preseason as he recovers from thumb surgery. ESPN's Adam Caplan reports that Skrine is on track to play Week 1, while the Browns would only say that he is "week-to-week." Skrine is expected to handle slot corner duties this season with Joe Haden and rookie Justin Gilbert on the outside.

Tour2ma
At first I read the title as "Buster Skrine Day Today" and I thought, "Buster has a day?"

Guest
Gilbert looked OK today, McFadden drew yet another penalty. Gilbert looked like the real deal. McFadden has had penalty problems since he stepped onto an NFL field, but I saw some things last night that thought my prediction of his demise may be over-exaggerated. Mudfly
Gilberts name barely got mentioned last night, which is always good when you're a DB......Though, he and Haden were playing pretty soft last night. I expected a bit more physical play at the line and tighter coverages.....Not knocking the overall performance(3 ints are always good), but they def weren't "shut down" either.....
