On the brighter side, we resigned Armond Smith to the practice squad. “@OfficialBrowns: RT @DMurph_BrownsPR: The #Browns signed RB Armond Smith to the practice squad. Released RB Xavier Omon.”
Harry Buffalo
That sucks, but imagine how lucky he is. If he doesn't get traded he doesn't get the MRI that finds the tumor and be the time he does find out it could have been too late for him.

USFBrown
Poor guy. I will always remember the game when he got the 3rd most rushing yards in a single game. Wish the best for him and his family.

Canton Mike
What a shame. I am praying for his future good health, family, and happiness. Certainly the trade, demanding the physical, was (as my Bride & I often say) a "God thing". God Bless, Mike
Harry Buffalo
An update on the Ex Brown Harrison. Apparently things have not been going to good with him. Is having seizure complications due to his Brain Tumor and is constantly in and out of the hospital which is not great considering he has been dealing with this tumor for close to a year now and it appears to be getting worse. Looking like he will certainly never see the field again.
BadNewsBrowns
That's sad news, feel bad for Harrison. I always assumed that they caught it early and were able to remove it. On a side note I googled this and about ten results on the first page started with "Josh Cribbs says" some people need to learn to shut the fuck up. Really does this guy and his family in these rough times of their lives want their business out there like that?

On a side note I googled this and about ten results on the first page started with "Josh Cribbs says" some people need to learn to shut the fuck up. Really does this guy and his family in these rough times of their lives want their business out there like that? Well him and Cribbs were friends and it came up in an interview. It's not like Harrison is getting any negative attention. If anything he is getting many more prayers and those never hurt.

Looking like he will certainly never see the field again. Even if its removed the seizures will most likely haunt him forever. My uncle had a brain tumor removed and although he lived another ten years he had frequent debilitating seizures until one finally killed him. I hope the best for Harrison, but that's very bad news. hoorta
Drug companies make far too much profit off of chemo drugs to ever want to find a cure. Absolute B**lsh!t. they make plenty of money already selling Cialis and Viagra. The first company to find a drug that cures cancer will make billions. Plus there's research going on with designer genetic engineering and nanotechnoloy that takes drug companies out of the equation.

I've seen promising chemotherapy drugs removed even though they worked because the company wasn't making enough money, i.e. the cancer was rare and not enough people were taking it to justify keeping it. But I hope you're right and I'm wrong.

They make a lot more money treating it than they ever would curing it. That's for sure. Dr. Kalafatis won't be allowed to test his drug on humans for years even though he has killed cancer cells in mice successfully in multiple trials. That would be huge for Cleveland..but they'll keep pushing it back.

They get a lot more money for cancer and AIDS research to find a cure than they would ever getting producing and selling a cure. They have a money pipeline now and they have no reason to actually deliver. My whole thought line is that they have a cure for cancer and AIDS and they just aren't releasing it. You got the money, you get the cure. Magic Johnson anyone?
