kshutchins
Just a quickie this week. (Nothing wrong with quickies, right?) Beanpot's League Werewolves of Linden took a bite out of Zombo's WildDawgs to win top honors (the Viagra trophy) for the week. Aaron Rodgers (44) was singlehandly responsible for the outcome. Werewolves 118; WildDawgs (without wolfsbane) 89. NavDawg's Browns were cut to pieces by TexChainsaw Massaquoi, 65-112. Tex has Baltimore's defense (32) to thank for pulling off the most massive pasting for league one. The Average Joe's maintained an above average level of achievement for the week and are the only team still undefeated in the league. Commish, Beanpot, dropped to 2-2 in part because Kevin Kolb delivered a goose egg. The squeaker of the week saw the Redneck Roosters finally win one. Hakeem Nicks (26) and Matt Forte (24) notched the victory over Dot the I, 96-93. Also played: Greenville Mayhem 86 Believeland 60 Usual Suspects 92 Ballantyne Buckeyes 88 Oreo's Hangout Kentucky Barnburner swept the awards this week by knocking off the Bronx Browns 129-83. Aaron Rodgers ruled for the Barnburner and more than made up for the zip from Devery Henderson. Luckiest matchup of the week gave the gift of a 4-0 record to dirty hands 76-66 over The Hammer. The dirty hands may have cleaned up but would have lost had they faced ANY other opponent in Oreo's Hangout. GocongorGoHome has the other perfect record in the hangout. Empty threats from DD's, "Gocong, you're going home!" and a -2 from Chad Henne delivered the W to Gocong, 106-90. Oreo's yowling over the only winless record so far. She'll have claws out this week in an effort to scratch a path out of the cellar. Hammertime distracted the kitty with treats and snagged enough points to win 92-85. Also played: Beanpot 97 Lambdo's Air Show 69 Choo Choo's 106 Kamac 19 89 The Heidi Report My Helmet's 2Tight 3-1-0 107 Ballantyne Bruisers 33-1-0 90 Helmet had the pleasure of handing Bruisers his first loss this week. My Helmet's 2Tight's top players were Aaron Rodgers with 44 points and Tony Gonzalez with 16. And with those 44 points, Aaron Rodgers wins the Viagra Award in this league this week.
