Social media posts emerging from Hazard High School in Hazard, Kentucky show teenage boys giving lap dances to staff which has prompted outrage from parents on social media, according to Lexington Herald-Leader.

  5. https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/biden-socialist-budget-no-tax-hike-poor-black-smokers-deroy-murdock Joe Biden repeatedly has pledged to raise taxes only on the affluent. "I promise you, you have my word, if you make less than $400,000 a year, you won’t pay a penny more in taxes," the president told voters in St. Paul, Minnesota on October 30, 2020. According to Americans for Tax Reform, Biden publicly expressed these or equivalent remarks at least 41 other times. According to the Tax Foundation, Biden’s 2,456-page bill, as currently written, proposes a 100 percent increase in cigarette taxes to $2.01 per pack. ($2.00 would be more manageable, but whatever.) The dipping-tobacco tax would climb to $2.01 per can -- up 1,677 percent. The tax on snus tobacco pouches would rise to $2.40 per tin -- up 2,892 percent. Biden envisions a brand-new federal Vaping Tax. The tax would go from $0.00 today to $2.22 per vaping pod. (What a random number. Why not $2.00 or $2.50? "No, Kamala. Let’s make it $2.22. That will fool ’em!"). Mathematically, the percentage increase in such a Vaping Tax rate would be infinite. Is this Biden’s idea of "equity?" Alas, non-smokers would see their taxes climb, too. The Congressional Joint Committee on Taxation calculated on September 22 that Biden’s bill would hike taxes on: •4.7 percent of those who earn between $40,000 and $50,000 •8.8 percent between $50,000 and $75,000 •17.9 percent between $75,000 and $100,000 •34.8 percent between $100,000 and $200,000 These figures turn Biden's $400,000-tax comments into ashes. Indeed, Biden’s avarice recalls a Beatles song: "If you drive a car, I’ll tax the street. "If you try to sit, I’ll tax your seat. "If you get too cold, I’ll tax the heat. "If you take a walk, I’ll tax your feet."

  7. Taco Bell, McDonald's, and Dunkin' are raising prices. Here's how much more you're paying for coffee and food. https://www.businessinsider.com/dunkin-mcdonalds-and-other-fast-food-chains-are-raising-prices-2021-7 Prices at fast-food chains will continue to rise as ingredients and labor grow more expensive. Chipotle raised prices across its menu by about 4% in June, a move the company said was prompted by increased wages for workers. The average Chipotle meal will cost $0.30 to $0.40 more than it did before, and a spokesperson told Insider that the price hike would compensate for the recent wage increases for workers. In April, the fast-casual chain said it would raise average hourly wages to $15 an hour by the end of June, an increase of $2 over the $13-an-hour average pay. Nearly every fast-food and fast-casual chain will likely follow, analysts at Gordon Haskett said in a report released Thursday.
