  1. https://babylonbee.com/news/exclusive-the-babylon-bee-has-obtained-bidens-list-of-possible-scotus-nominees Ever since Justice Stephen Breyer announced his retirement from the Supreme Court, the President has been feverishly sifting through binders full of black women in search of the next great SCOTUS nominee. The Babylon Bee has received an exclusive look at Biden's list of potential SCOTUS nominees. Surprisingly, they're not all black women. DISCLAIMER: The following list of names and comments are taken verbatim from Biden's list and do not reflect the views of The Babylon Bee. Queen Latifa: She's black, female, and sassy! That's a win-win-win scenario. Michelle Obama: Barack will kill me if I don't nominate her. Rachel Dolezal: A woman who is also black. Whoopi Goldberg: She was a nun. That'll help me look Catholic! Actually– maybe we can just replace the whole court with The View. Gotta' ask Jill. Aunt Jemima: I can't believe they fired that poor woman. The Pearl Mining Company just wants to keep her in chains! Mrs. Butterworth: She's probably black. I can't tell. Peter Dinklage: He could use a boost. Xi Jinping: We already have a good working relationship. Greta Thunberg: Our court would be well served by this infallible child of light. She's black, right? Hunter Biden: He should fit right in. This may be the easiest nominee to push through. Gotta' tell Jill. Donald Trump: The only way to keep him from running for President. Vladimir Putin: The only way to keep him from invading Ukraine. Kamala Harris: The only way to keep her from killing me. Plus, she's black! (Editor's Note: The word 'black' was circled three times) Noticeably absent from the list is former Obama appointee, Merrick Garland. Sources confirm he doesn't tick any intersectional boxes which makes him a major liability.

  5. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/02/02/hue-jackson-suggests-he-was-paid-extra-for-losses-as-browns-head-coach/ Former Dolphins coach Brian Flores alleges Dolphins owner Stephen Ross offered him $100,000 per loss during the 2019 season in order to ensure the team would wind up with the first overall pick and former Browns coach Hue Jackson made similar allegations in response to Flores’ lawsuit going public on Tuesday. Jackson responded to a tweet about the case by saying Browns owner Jimmy Haslam “was happy while we kept losing” and then wrote “trust me it was a good number” in response to someone who said Haslam wasn’t offering $100,000 per loss. Jackson, who is now the head coach at Grambling, went 1-31 over his first two seasons with the Browns and was fired after a 2-5-1 start in 2018. In another tweet, the executive director of Jackson’s foundation Kimberley Diemert said they had records that would support Flores’ case and wrote that Jackson and team executives Sashi Brown, Paul DePodesta, and Andrew Berry — who is now the team’s General Manager — were paid bonus money to tank in 2016 and 2017. Jackson replied by saying he “can back up every word I’m saying.” Flores’ suit was filed as a class action, which leaves room for others to join the litigation. Jackson’s comments suggest he’d be willing to do that. Jackson is like a bad rash and just won't go away!

  19. Opinion ANDY PUZDER: Does Biden deserve credit for economic recovery? Here's a realistic look at the numbers It’s good to remember GDP is a year-over-year number. In other words, it’s easier to have a high percentage increase in the current year if you’re rolling over a large decrease in the prior year. In 2020, red and blue state governors shut down their states’ economies to slow the pandemic’s spread. With our economy shut down, GDP understandably declined by a significant 3.4%, the largest drop since at least 1948. So, with the bar set at an historic low of -3.4% in 2020, GDP naturally rebounded in 2021. No surprise here. The fact is that when states reopened, given the depths to which the economy sank, GDP was going to increase no matter what. To make the nature of this 5.7% increase even clearer, let’s look at GDP dollars (as opposed to percentages). In 2019 (pre-pandemic), GDP was about $19 trillion. Because the economy was shut down for much of 2020, GDP dropped to about $18.4 trillion. In 2021, it rose again to about $19.4 trillion. That’s an increase for 2021 of 2% over 2019, a fairer comparison and a less than impressive gain. The fact is that when states reopened, given the depths to which the economy sank, GDP was going to increase no matter what Biden did. As it turns out, GDP increased only 2% over its pre-pandemic level – and that was with gargantuan government spending. That brings us to Biden’s second claim – "a record number of jobs created." Because of the pandemic-induced economic shutdowns, the economy lost about 9.4 million jobs in 2020, the steepest job loss on record. As we emerged from the pandemic, we recovered about 6.5 million jobs in 2021, or a return of 70% of the jobs we lost. In other words, while a large number of people have returned to work (Biden claims these are jobs his policies "created"), we’re still 2.9 million jobs, or 30%, below pre-pandemic levels. CLICK HERE TO GET THE OPINION NEWSLETTER So are Biden’s economic policies responsible for that 70% of jobs recovered or is it states reopening their economies? Well, it turns out that the red states leading the way in reopening their economies are also leading the way in creating jobs. Video
