My Wife recorded "Tailgate 19" - with Bob Golic, Eric Metcalf, Josh Cribbs, and Tony Zarella. I love listening to these guys. Cribbs said the suspension can't stand upon review, and the question was raised about a lawsuit. Cribbs is a very smart guy - he said bring it on, because in a court of law, the instigator is the assaulter, and clearly that was, obviously, Rudolph. He said it was football - Garrett had every right to sack him, and as Golic noted, Garrett went way, way careful to not land on him, and had Rudolph land on him instead, to not draw a penalty, etc and then the qb went ballistic. My paraphrase.

The NFL is all about $$$$$$$$$$. It's gotten far, far worse these days. The refs are showing favoritism towards superbowl teams that make a lot of money. I don't see any other explanation for the incredible contradictions and flagrant no-calls. It all comes down to what team the players play for, so much of the time. But it isn't only the Browns... From 2010: http://www.espn.com/espn/page2/story/_/page/easterbrook%2F101019_tuesday_morning_quarterback/sportCat/nfl "Josh Cribbs of the Browns suffered a concussion on a helmet-to-helmet hit by James Harrison of the Steelers on Sunday. No flag was thrown. Later in the same contest, Mohamed Massaquoi of the Browns left the field with a head injury after a helmet-to-helmet hit by Harrison. No flag. DeSean Jackson of the Eagles sustained a "severe" concussion on a flagrant helmet-to-helmet hit by Dunta Robinson of Atlanta. Robinson was flagged but not ejected, as he should have been. (Robinson left the game with his own concussion, but disqualification sends a much stronger message about behavior than just a penalty.) Zack Follett of Detroit lay motionless for several minutes on the field after a helmet-to-helmet hit by Jason Pierre-Paul of the Giants. No flag. Sam Bradford's helmet was knocked off by a helmet-to-helmet hit by Kevin Burnett of San Diego. No flag. " That, folks - is pittsburg...and Atlanta....and the Giants. ALL SUPERBOWL TEAMS. Even San Diego..long past, though...Superbowl team......... then there's the old hit on Josh Cribbs. The fumble stood..meaning...NO FLAG? https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2012/9/27/3420734/josh-cribbs-hit-browns-ravens-game Cribbs was already being tackled, for God's sakes. Yep. Ratbuzzards- Superbowl team.

so am I. But I'm also intelligent - i also hate the steelers and how they get away with garbage. I never once excused Garrett at all. What do you call a freakin pro nfl qb that throws a hissy fit over being legally sacked on the last play of a game, tries to rip off the helmet of the great DE who just easily sacked him cleanly, and tries to scratch his eyes out??? whatever, and then kicks the DE in the groin twice WHILE THE DE IS BEING RESTRAINED, then after that, said quarterback goes after to punch the DE AGAIN, while the DE is still being RESTRAINED? I'll delete my other post that got moved and buried... read this: ********************************************* I have a few questions for Troy Vincent, NFL guy who decided punishments. https://www.cleveland.com/browns/2019/11/it-was-an-easy-decision-to-suspend-myles-garrett-for-the-season-troy-vincent-tells-cbs-sports-mason-rudolph-will-be-fined.html "Vincent also explained his thinking on suspending Browns defensive end Larry Ogunjobi, who ran up to a stationery Rudolph from behind and shoved him to the ground just moments after he had been struck in the head by Garrett with the helmet. Rudolph had already suffered one concussion this season, when he was knocked out cold by Earl Thomas in the Ravens games last month. He missed one game with it. "This is an individual who, in our view, was going out of his way to escalate this situation," Vincent said. "This is an action that could start another melee. It is a potential re-escalation." ********************************************************** So, Troy... wasn't the ripping on Garrett's helmet, kicks to Garrett's groin.. an "escalation" ??? Wasn't Garrett, allowing himself to be restrained with no animosity towards DeCastro, and pulled away from sissy mason.... the victim of sissy mason's attacking Garrett AGAIN? Is not the latter ANOTHER RE-ESCALATION ? And why, if Ogunjobi gets suspended one game for a re-escalation...why not sissy mason? For the integrity? of the NFL, I believe somebody needs to ask Troy Vincent just what the hell is going on with his logic of not suspending sissy mason, who STARTED the entire fiasco, who RE-ESCALATED the entire fiasco. No freaking wonder refs aren't held accountable, eh, Troy? **************************************** part of my beef is, the serious lack of fairness. Ogunjobi - suspended for one game for an action they called "re-escaltion". So why...in...the...hell..... isn't what sissy mason did, in going after Garrett again... not deescalation??? It's a simple freaking good question. Try answering it, instead of bitching some smart ass stuff at me. *********************************************
  4. whatever helps them try to win in 2020. Because they know full well it's a kangaroo court fake attempt at an "impeachment proceeding" like... "man made global warming was ridiculed as bogus, so the left went with "climate change" because climate changes, except they changed the meaning of "climate change" to "man made global warming". Living in fascist socialist emotional utopia land surely is caused by a mental illness. https://www.theblaze.com/news/democrats_focus_group_memo_impeachment_bribery
  5. Duke brought it upon himself - didn't want to be a wr, or even only a third down back...didn't want to lose carries because of Hunt...he decided he wanted out, so... it's too bad. Chubb-Hunt-Duke would have been able to make NFL history maybe.

my bad. you post stupid like a steeler fan, so I just made a faulty assumption.......

    Myles

too bad your sissy mason started the whole melee, and escalated it to the breaking point. What a p poor tool of an nfl player. I wish Miles had dropped the helmet, but he didn't. I wish sissy mason wasn't a sissy stupid ass sombeitch...except he is, so... wait....actually, that hurts the steelers in a huge way. Even the steeler fans are saying the same thing.

:"unless you play for the patriots or steelers ...teams that have made the nfl a lot of superbowl $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ then you can do anything you want to do against the rules."
  9. The only other fact I can add to that, is that sissy mason was clearly shown to be grinning big afterwards, still on the field. that means............. what? "haha, it worked to perfection? Now we don't have to have such a hard time when we play the Browns in two weeks?" I wonder. That's a fact, too. 🙄
  10. It's an amazingly asinine political farce. After three years of belligerent investigation by dirty mueller and his band of Pres Trump hating prosecutor sombeitches... they got nothing. But that won't stop the deep state from trying to destroy Pres Trump's agenda ...because they desperately have to keep power... or perhaps end up in prison. we'll see.
  11. obaMao's "Rules of Engagement" were a result of stupidass globalism, equaling - marxist/leftwing political bigotry because obaMao was a marxist/leftist political bigot. So, no, I won't drop it. And the civilian was a BOMB MAKER. That was fact. In fact, I believe that whatever order there was to release the bomb maker (obaMao can go to hell).... was an illegal order. Which we both know as fact, you are NOT REQUIRED TO FOLLOW. And, not only was I a semi-expert on the UCMJ, I was asked early on by commanders, etc, about what part of the UCMJ deals with ... whatever the subject. That is how I ended up thinking to develop a subject-based arrangement of the entire UCMJ set of documents, with numerical order within subjects. It hadn't been done before, apparently. So, I developed an index of all subjects, published it with the entire set, and per subject, you could easily find the particular UCMJ document you needed. I developed it over months. The UCMJ is several large volumes. I don't remember how many. I literally have read the ENTIRE UCMJ. and AF regs. and BASE regs. I set it all up with the subject filing. and, FYI, I used to type up Article 15 and Court-Martial papers. Don't go all "He's a decorated veteran, so you should agree with him and hate Pres Trump Too"... and then discount Col. West's decorated service. and my claim about "classified evidence"... was just a suggestion, not a declaration of fact. I agree 100% about pardoning these two veterans, based on the complexity of the extenuating circumstances. and don't try to counter with the "my lai" scandal again. That is completely emotional crap. Not any kind of legitimate comparison in the slightest.

Yep. The NFL absolutely had time to consider all the facts before judging. But NOOOOOO. It's only the Browns. Who cares about all the facts with them? If Baker ever did exactly what sissy mason did to start a fight because he got sacked again? Baker would never do that. I would say Baker instigated it. Facts are facts. Sissy mason DID start, and continue it. I still wonder. The pass play call, 2 TD's down, 8 secs left... letting big sacker Garrett in with no attempt to block him. Garrett sacks him, easily...as in, doesn't land on him, but spins to keep his weight on him and have him land on HIM as to not get called for UC ... THEN he has his helmet nearly ripped off, kicked in the groin twice, his eyes attack inside his helmet... by the same qb...who THEN attacks him again and tries to get a hold of his balls and rips them off AGAIN? (I still wonder what he said to Miles while he tried to scratch Miles' eyes out, that Kitchens won't repeat) Oh, and no steeler tried to hold sissy mason back? I call....for a look into a setup. It doesn't add up, that's all I'm saying. Especially, the qb who started it all with cheapshots doesn't get any suspension??? nah. not buying. I'm sad that Miles didn't drop the helmet. Huge mistake. But, in self defense mode, I -understand- how a mistake can be made.

remainder??? that makes no sense to me.... a qb trying to rip off a defenders' helmet because of a clean, 'nother sack should never ever happen on a football field. The qb kicking a defender, who had NOT DONE ANYTHING WRONG BEFORE THE QB STARTED IT.... should never, ever kick an opposing player WHO MADE A CLEAR EASY SACK in the groin...and that should never ever happen on a football field. etc.

    Myles

YEP. That was my reaction - disgust that Miles didn't drop the helmet, but was attacked again and again and was not fighting DeCastro who was restraining him - and then the sissy mason attacked him again. He was nearly defenseless, had one loose arm, that should not have had a helmet in it. Suspend sissy mason. He initialized the fight, and re-ignited the fight. No suspension for sissy mason makes for biased goodhell to look like the superbowl team favoring schmuck he's been called out to be long before this.

as well he should. https://www.newsweek.com/myles-garrett-isnt-first-nfl-player-use-helmet-weapon-rule-against-it-was-written-1982-1472057 Another incident happened in 2002 during the Kansas City Chiefs training camp. During a team practice, a fight broke out between defensive lineman Eddie Freeman and offensive lineman John Tait. Freeman hit Tait with his own helmet causing 17 stitches and a broken nose. "He had my helmet and hit me with it. It wasn't his fist," Tait told reporters after the incident. "It's common knowledge he had my helmet in his hand, and he swung it back and hit me with it." In 2006, Tennessee Titans defensive end Albert Haynesworth was suspended for five games after he knocked the knocked off Dallas Cowboys center Andre Furode's helmet and kicked him in the face. Haynesworth did not use the helmet as a weapon, but his suspension length could give insight into how the league will handle Garrett's situation. NFL Network reporter, James Palmer also pointed out another instance where a player used a helmet as a weapon in 2013. During a preseason game, Houston Texans defensive end Antonio Smith ripped the helmet off of Miami Dolphins' guard Richie Incognito and tried to hit him with it. The last time I remember some one doing what Myles Garrett did was when Antonio Smith ripped off Richie Incognito’s helmet and then swung it at his head. I can’t believe I found the video. pic.twitter.com/qFrSN5cWYC — James Palmer (@JamesPalmerTV) November 15, 2019 According to the play-by-play record of the game, no penalty was called on Smith, but he was later suspended for the final two games of the preseason as well as week one of the regular season. *************************************** Most all? of us Browns fans know Miles should have gotten suspended. But INDEFINATELY? When he didn't start it? and was being restrained and held back while sissy mason attacked HIM a second time, after kicking him in the groin and trying to rip off HIS helmet, and trying to poke his eyes out? Nah. Said it before, say it now. The corrupt NFL Goodhell hates the Browns, or at least dumps on them because we haven't made the NFL $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ in superbowls. And obviously refuses to hold his referees accountable for a lack of fairness across the board.

and Gronk got only one game suspension. sissy mason did a lot worse than that.
  17. Tex - that's pretty weak - maybe you are not entitled to know. You know, maybe classified? Judges order it not be made public? Not be allowed? But the President has access to all of it - so, I will go with that - the guys on the front lines, unless it's a clear open and shut case, should not be prosecuted because of the marxist/leftwing political bigotry and stupid ass rules of engagement Obamao inflicted on our military.
  18. What Tex is saying, really, is that the left demands to control the narrative, but they can't here, and "it isn't fair"... so they left, only to have Tex whine about the majority of posters being on the right.... because Tiamsies organized a mass walkout. LOL Living solely on emotions just doesn't work correctly.
  19. So, the Wife and I were watching this cooking show... a place in Tennessee... and they store their sides of beef in dry storage for about 6 weeks. They get mold on em, but they cut the mold off, and all the really nice meat is outstanding. A place called "Walnut Kitchen" in Marysville. I'm not thinkin to try that at home...but... we may travel through Marysville to check it out....
  20. I call BS on the refs. Remember when Baker was "sacked" ??? Watch this play and tell me any other qb (who goes to superbowls) would get called down ... and watch the second sack. The last player piled on "with all his weight" ...no call?

ok, now you've gone full dipwad. LOL. so, you're saying that Mean Old Doctor Garrett was using a foam hammer thingie to test sissy mason's reflexes? LOL or, you mean to say that your sissy mason's lower leg is connected to his facemask and helmet. LOL you suck at making sense. really.
  22. sissy mason was just throwing a temper tantrum because the refs didn't make Miles stop sacking him. the squealers have been getting carried away with their ref favoritism going ons. and Goodhell doesn't hold the refs accountable.
  23. time for goodhell to go. He stinks, he's dishonest, and he reeks of favoritism and rotten character. and that was before he didn't suspend sissy mason for even one game.
  24. LOL LOL "choke" dammit, Flugs, I'm moving my breakfast and coffee out to the kitchen. LOL
  25. Sorry, you're in Spain. My bad. LOL I SAID "just in case". Bitching wouldn't do any good. I mentioned "you get more flies..." it's an old non Spanish? saying that means being nice gets far more results than being like a squealer fan......
