  1. a lack of any gas at all is poisonous gas then? that kills....
  2. it's a nothingburger. "it's a business" he doesn't know. If he says "I never want to leave the Browns" the question will be "does he care about winning?" or something. Just more dumb journalist questions, mary kay cabbage and tony rizzo style.
  3. I hear they are so desperate to win in 2020, they changed it again, from "climate change" to "climate emergency". I guess "apocalypse" was way too hard for them to spell.....
  4. Invented an amazing duck call. Became a millionaire. Still hunts and fishes...lives in the same house. Grew up in poverty...it was a very funny, decent show.
  5. He did go to a bad team/bad offensive line. Last year, end of the 2017 season...Arizona's offensive line was rated 27th.. but Buffalo's offensive line was rated 29th. that's per https://www.pff.com/news/pro-nfl-offensive-line-rankings-all-32-teams-units-entering-2018 The upside is Rosen admitted he realized he had to change things about himself, how he approached the game, etc etc, by watching Fitz. Should be interesting to see how much he improves before next season.
  6. It is an excellent article, and I also agree. If Dorsey had kept Zeitler at OG, it would have helped Hubbard at RT. The offensive line situation killed Mayfield's chance of taking his success last year even further. Dorsey was betting big on Corbett and lost. Another good article: https://247sports.com/nfl/cleveland-browns/Article/OBR-Film-Room-Baker-Mayfield-and-the-checkdown-dilemma-139719701
  7. again... it's a sick very, very dangerous arrogance by the left. The weathermen discussed exterminating 25 million Americans who would never accept the left/socialist/communists taking over America. https://saynsumthn.wordpress.com/2010/06/15/fbi-on-weather-underground-eliminate-25-million-people-who-are-pro-capitalist/

Yeast meets grape juice in an environment that allows fermentation. It's such a natural process that wine was probably first discovered by happy accident thousands of years ago: Natural yeasts, blowing in the wind, settled down upon a bunch of squashed grapes, whose juice was pooling in the shaded bowl of a rock. 9. Actually, it only came up because we played Buffalo and Miami, and Canton Mike and I went and watched us play the Bills. We got to see first hand how Allen is coming along. So, it was raining and I didn't want to go work in the barn splitting more wood, I was doing some online Christmas shopping, and... I posted it. What goes around, Comes around. Have a nice day.
  10. Seeing leadership up close, in real life is a far different from divining it thru a TV set. The latter is what you pretend you can do.TOUR ******************************************** LOL. you are being an ass now. Here's a few things you can know - my apprenticeship in a machine shop ran out a year after high school, and immediately I got drafted in 1970. They saw the big 11" scar on my knee, at the physical...having had it restructured the summer after the ninth grade, and ended up telling me they were sending me home because my knee wouldn't last one week in basic. Everything else but my knee was perfect. 2 1/2 years later, I enlisted - there was going to be a huge long strike at Dad's work, and it was going to be hostile and last months. And, a rubber company closed, and there were thousands of those employees frantically signing up for every job. So... I enlisted. They weren't going to let me in, but I enlisted in the Air Force, because the Navy recruiter looked at the xray I showed him of my knee and he said he didn't think they would let my knee into any branch - but a remote possibility was the Air Force - it was the shortest. So I did. And they were going to send me home, but I told them why I did it, and how they had to give me that chance. After another three doctors there consulted, the two doctors came over and said "son, you have too much gumption for your own good, ...but we're going to give you that chance - but ...only...because it's the shortest basic. We hope you make it son, but that knee... you're going to need some luck." Towards the end of my enlistment, like I told your little buddy Tiamsies, I was asked to join OSI. OSI is the Air Force version of NCIS in the Navy/Marines. My squadron commander said in all his years - he had only one other person recruited to the OSI, and that it was a very high honor. But, I had a bad knee, and figured my knee couldn't take anymore. Too bad. But I'm a bit like Phil Robertson - hunting and fishing with my Dad was calling me back home. I never intended to be a lifer. After I retired, my knee was so bad, my Wife cried, and insisted I had to go get a new knee. Yeah, you played football and only you know about leadership? Incredibly small of you, Tour. You have no idea.
  11. But your little attack weasel Tiam did, and you back him up like you're his nanny. How do you think you don't see leadership in the military? Stop and think. You think the military is watching TV ? what the... "Seeing leadership up close" because you played FOOTBALL ? You just did what I said you did. lol If you ego isn't threatened, what the heck are you doing entering this thread and getting all antagonistic about my op? "pinko ring" is a retort towards "kremlin kal" whatever that means. and keep your politics off this forum, pulleaze. I've already posted about Phil Robertson. He was the starting qb ahead of Terry Bradshaw in college. Bradshaw said it himself - he may never have won superbowls if Phil hadn't quit football to get back to the woods, hunting and fishing, which he loved. Phil Robertson is the father of the rest of the Robertson family - the show was "Duck Dynasty".
  12. The leftist part of our gov now is worse than declaring war on America, if they can't control it. ******************************** Adam Schiff hired alleged Ukraine whistleblower's friend and former co-worker one day after Trump's call with Zelensky https://www.theblaze.com/news/adam-schiff-hired-alleged-ukraine-whistleblowers-friend-day-after-trump-call

There are dangerously corrupt people in our gov now. DRAIN THE SWAMP
  14. https://www.theblaze.com/newsletters/schiff-obtained-journalist-john-solomons-phone-records-and-nobody-in-the-media-seems-to-care Schiff obtained journalist John Solomon’s phone records, and nobody in the media seems to care
  15. Good question - HOW did schiff get the call and text history on John Solomon and Giuliani...and Devin Nunes? and released them ALL PUBLIC ? It's a secret war for control of our country - and they believe we should not have any say in who gets to head our country. They are trying to take our country away from us. Don't be surprised if Brennan and Clapper's names come up as the influence to use the intel service power to try to ruin Pres Trump somehow, someway...by trying to destroy anyone who sides with President Trump. Which, if they must, includes all of us who voted for him to drain the swamp. We never knew how dangerously corrupt and huge the swamp was. https://www.theblaze.com/news/adam-schiff-releases-personal-phone-records-of-rudy-giuliani-devin-nunes
  16. This is also true. I hate to see Kitchens blamed for not winning, though - why is it the head coach is always to blame? The responsibility is on his shoulders, "buck falls here" ...but I wonder if we just need a different person calling the plays, maybe a different db coach. And one look at the depth chart recently - the depth is playing in too many areas. Our offensive line - when I heard that Chubb is on pace for 1600 yards? I was flat out amazed. I would have loved for the defense to have stayed healthy, and they are still a very good defense. Anyways, we've all seen years where the Browns played like they knew it was hopeless, and just seemed to have quit. These Browns kick ass and leave it all out on the field. These Browns love Freddie Kitchens. Firing ANOTHER HC is just not doing anything to fix the Browns' weaknesses. Dorsey needs to be more careful about the chances he takes on players. FOR INSTANCE - it's true, btw - Josh Rosen hasn't had a good team to play on....but... LT ronnie stanley - 1st round, pick 6 (balt) 2016 OG bradley boseman - 6th round (Balt)2018 Patrick Mekari - UDFA rookie (BALT)2019 Marshal Yanda - 3rd round (Balt) 2007 Orlando Brown, Jr - 3rd round (Balt) 2018 This is the ratbirds' offensive line. They pay attention to it. I mean - JOE FLACCO ? They could put different qb's back there and the qb could play. Lamar Jackson is just a spectacular athlete. The problem is, drafting and making mistakes. That isn't Freddie Kitchens' fault. The Browns are very, very close. Agonizing, yes. But very, very close. Just not...there...yet. dammit.
  17. Hey now, my dumb opinions are no cause for stink. Just ignore em. Certain folks can't let others have opinions around here. Tiam and Tour didn't have to open the thread at all. and the rest of us don't need no stinking permission from them. Have a nice day.
  18. The intitial hostility was during the draft. I simply commented on looking back. History is important. How about you and your two haters STFU and let other people have opinions too? we don't need your stinking permission. Okay. Now I'm done, and yes, you all stunk up the thread and killed it, and now you complain about the stink. Have a nice day.
  19. Nope - I was the one who posted that. I didn't hate Rosen, I just had no respect for his attitude. Meanwhile, admits what I and others said about him. Good for him, personally and for his NFL career. I'm going by facts about Corbett, and drawing my own conclusions. I don't need your alpha-whine boys band's permission, and neither does anyone else on this board who didn't play football but have watched the Browns since the Leroy Kelly days. My work in this here thread is done. Wait... https://www.syracuse.com/buffalo-bills/2019/12/bills-josh-allen-and-ravens-lamar-jackson-will-make-nfl-history-for-this-stat-sunday.html " Bills’ Josh Allen and Ravens’ Lamar Jackson will make NFL history for this stat Sunday Updated Dec 03, 2019;Posted Dec 03, 2019 " "Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson are the two most successful signal callers from the 2018 draft class despite being the third and fifth quarterbacks selected." " Their teams are a combined 19-5 on the season and both players are likely headed to the playoffs. " " On the other side, Allen hasn’t been as dependent on running the ball this season but it’s largely been due to him becoming a more effective passer. He’s rushed for 430 yards on about the same number of carries he had in his 12 games as a rookie, but he’s averaging almost two and a half yards per carry less. What hasn’t changed is Allen’s ability to score when running it. He has eight rushing touchdowns on the season and that’s the most by any quarterback in the league. The Bills are coming off their most impressive game of the season in a 26-15 win in Dallas on Thanksgiving. The Bills sit at 9-3 and within a game of the New England Patriots in the AFC East."
  20. Of course I know he got starts in Miami - and was replaced by an older former 7th round pick at qb. I watched him play. He was miserable. I actually hope the guy can go ahead and have a solid career - who wants somebody to be a failure? I simply call em as I sees em. Making excuses for Rosen is your take? He isn't making excuses, he's manned up to his weaknesses. He had problems with his attitude in the draft - his work ethic was blah, his entitlement crap was sky high. He WAS a prick. Like I already said - We watched a prick yellow rope grow up a ton, because the more he was a prick, the more miserable and failure he was. He grew up and became one of us. It took time. A lot of folks grow up from adversity in one fashion or another. from the Miami Herald, and Rosen himself: ************************************************* https://www.miamiherald.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/armando-salguero/article237362129.html "But here’s something more encouraging: The quarterback that could not author the kind of results Fitzpatrick is currently getting didn’t just fade into the shadows and allow himself to be forgotten. Josh Rosen didn’t leave the big stage and simply become an observer with little say in the present and no prospects for the future. Josh Rosen recognized he failed. And he’s been attacking that failure behind the scenes. “If bad things happen, everything didn’t go correctly,” Rosen said during a private moment this week. “So you have to figure out what went wrong and fix it. I got a lot of things that I’m fixing and I think I’m learning a lot and fixing a lot of things behind the scenes right now and developing a lot of skills.” Rosen started three games in late September through mid-October and all three were Dolphins losses. Fitzpatrick regained the starting job at Buffalo on Oct. 20 and will continue to start Sunday, again against the Bills. And while Fitzpatrick has done the seemingly endless work of preparing for each start, Rosen has begun shadowing Fitzpatrick. He’s learning from Fitzpatrick to a degree that he probably didn’t attempt previously. Because Rosen needs more than to improve on the physical aspects of playing quarterback. He seems quite gifted in that area. He needs to improve on the way he studies, the way he watches film, the way he plans and prepares for specific defenses and their coordinators. And he’s doing that. “I’ve made a lot of drastic improvements since I stopped starting, just by watching Fitz prepare for a game,” Rosen said. “I’m shadowing his schedule and seeing how he functions and what I can do for myself and getting a lot better at studying and watching film and anticipating where the ball is going.” “There’s just so many levels to it, and I didn’t really realize that, honestly, until relatively recently. And it’s kind of cool to be able to dive into those different levels as I watch Fitz play and how he functions.”
  21. He's a star for them. I just explained the difference between Kyler and Lamar. Take it or leave it. Kyler is far more a passer, than a runner. I gave you stats on it in college. Grow up already. If you "don't care" you don't need to open the thread. For all the guys who didn't play football for whatever reasons, we have a right to our perceptions about the game, too. You mad, you and your little "boss, de plane, de plane" friend? Because you "knew" that the media labeled Rosen as being by far the most NFL ready, perfect pocket passer, and you went with it completely?100 percentsies? I wasn't going to call anybody out. You called yourselves out ! LOL LOL
  22. which means absolutely nothing and isn't true. I've been watching the Browns since the early days. Leroy Kelly, etc. Wasn't a Jim Brown fan. attitude. I'm not pretending anything. I knew outstanding leaders in the military, and alpha male pretenders who can't be disagreed with because it deflates their core. Then, they go into a thread and make it belligerent and personal. I don't post very much...but I'm not going to kiss your pinko ring because you played football and I didn't. Brag on how you played football - I don't care. Plenty of guys who played football were stupid in life, and screwed up their lives. I simply post from different references, to respond to your bitching that I didn't play football. Phil Robertson had the freaking talent. Bradshaw knows far more than you, and he says Robertson had all the talent in the world, Ignore it all you want - to protect your ego, but you are extremely pissed, sorry bout that, but Phil Robertson's heart wasn't in it. And he decided he didn't want to play for money. There are guys who did decide to play for money, and some languish around the NFL, some ruin their careers with off the field garbage, etc. That is a lack of character on the latter.
  23. So, FACT: The Arizona Cardinals draft The Chosen Rosen, then dump him like a hot rock for only a second round pick, and after being traded to Miami, he still isn't (yet) starting. Now, instead of getting all personal, why don't you or Tiam or Tour explain why, with Rosen being "the by far best NFL ready best pocket passer" was traded by Arizona, and still not starting with Miami? He has the talent? right? So. what's up, doc? The qb I wanted, obviously, was Allen, who struggled his first year, but has improved and they are headed towards at least a wild card to the playoffs in Allen's second year. I only brought it up to talk about evaluating players based on how great they WANT to be, and not so much on how great they COULD BE if they cared enough to work at it, which doesn't exclude talent level at all, of course. If it was all that simple, then why did Arizona make the mistake? They know more about football than anybody else around here.
  24. It's just my opinion from observing. When it comes to sports - that's all I have. But I don't think you played pro football either. You haven't been in the military. I know about leadership, character, and being fiercely driven to succeed...etc - . But I wouldn't say you or anybody else was "talking out of your ass" because you weren't in the military..... I see no reason Corbett wouldn't become a star for a team like Bitonio. Except...he doesn't care enough. What else opinion would you give it? Bitonio's size, he played LT in college, but he can't play OG ? He did fine taking over for Bitonio at LT. He had the talent. You are confusing the issues. Of course Randy Moss could hate football, and still play it because he had high talent...and he craves the money. Some guys are not all about the big money. They don't want to play. I knew a kid - I was a stand in asst scoutmaster while their scoutmaster was on leave back in Israel ...with the military or intel training or something... and my best friend went on to Ohio State...in a Boy Scout troop. 14 yrs old, 5'11", 248 lbs. And very, very athletic. His sister was a cheerleader - and he could do a perfect cartwheel. He was amazing. I told him he should be a successful football player with a college scholarship if he kept at it. He shook his head and said he played for a while and hated it. He loved the outdoors, was going to become a national park ranger. He LOVED the outdoors, too. He had the talent, didn't want to play. Had he played in college, I can easily imagine he would have been a fine player...Deion Sanders talked about how he was driven, completely driven to play football since he was a very young kid. You say talent is everything, but a Calloway falters because he didn't love football and succeeding much, because he loved dope/whatever more. Some wr's don't love the game enough to risk getting clobbered over the middle. Some don't study their playbook like the should. Some hate to practice. etc etc. Some TE's don't like to block. and back to Rosen - he absolutely HAD THE TALENT. So don't be po'd at me about being wrong. Apparently, I was not talking out of my ass about that, was I? And Josh Allen is NOT garbage, is he? https://www.si.com/college-football/campus-union/2012/03/22/duck-punt-how-phil-robertson-found-stardom-after-giving-up-football
