  1. You are just a stupid-ass. Read your own post. Sept 14? It's JANUARY you ignorant butthole. I'm supporting their choice as hopefully a GREAT choice. But he wasn't MY choice. So, who would you pick as the next HC ? calfoxwc replied to tinythinker's topic in THE BROWNS BOARD ...I'd pickKris Richard as my next head coach. I don't get why he didn't get aninterview with the Browns. Did with the Giants... at least, hope he ends up with the Browns as an assistant coach. Yesterday at 09:05 AM 132 replies

  6. I have pictures of a baby Great Horned Owl I came across in our woods. Sent it to wildlife in Ohio - they were intrigued. The owl just sat there watching me - I was within 8 yards of it.
  7. LOL. I took a flight one time in the AF, good bit smaller than that one - to go meet a girlfriend in Nebraska. Navigator was explaining to me that if just one engine fails, they'd have to land somewhere, fairly quickly. "old shaky" is pretty much right on.
  8. well, I saw an interview with the Viking's center, and he said it's tough to see him go, but the Browns were getting an outstanding teacher and coach, etc. So there's that. Ryan: Stefanski is a fantastic hire for the Browns Matt Hasselbeck, Rex Ryan, Tedy Bruschi and Sean Payton react to the news that the Browns are planning to hire Vikings offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski as their new head coach.
  9. Stephanski wasn't "my guy". Try to get at least ONE fact straight this month, okay? I wanted Kris Richard, who wasn't interviewed. "Reading comprehension" IS a thing, you know.
  10. so....when nasty stinking nancy and co. want to impeach OUR ELECTED PRESIDENT... that means THEY should be impeached and thrown into prison. Tex may have a point with that one. It's the left who is always on the attack. biggest tantrum throwing bitchfest at losing an election in American history.
  11. the absolute arrogance and corruption of the left is just plain dangerous. They want America to fail, so they can claim socialism is the answer. (as in, we get permanent power and we can't lose it)

  14. can't do onions or steam broccoli unless the Wife is visiting her Dad in Texas... she doesn't like em. lol
  15. true. but the Browns have serious talent to win, just wait til after the next draft... the coaching held them back. I look for a huge difference.
  16. well, I bought into the hype with the last two failure hc's...so third time is the charm. Personally, I put a lot of stock in who said also, it's a "fantastic" hire in the video. that means serious stuff, imho. This time, I'm seeing that they learned their lesson. Stephanski is no "nice guy fuddy duddy nincampoop gonna fail" guy. you betcha. and that is with a UDFA at ROG and a terrific RT that got hurt in the playoff game.
  17. first video - "this hire isn't a good hire, ...it's a GREAT HIRE" a genius offensive coach - opposite of Kitchens. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/28469819/sources-browns-plan-hire-vikings-oc-kevin-stefanski-head-coach
  18. another huge reason - the new Head Coach. You know how opposing defenses said they could tell what plays Kitchens was calling? not with Stephanski they won't. He is the opposite of Kitchens. deception. trickery designed out of the same formations. screw with defenses' minds. Kosar would have loved this new head coach. https://www.news-herald.com/sports/browns/browns-interview-next-great-offensive-coach-kevin-stefanski-for-head/article_4972e3d0-3311-11ea-ae3e-a7f02878b89a.html " Zonecoverage.com recently did a fascinating breakdown of several play calls by Stefanski to support the argument “Why Kevin Stefanski might be the NFL’s next great offensive coach.” The play selections highlighted do not include razzle-dazzle halfback passes off a double-reverse but instead involve deception from conventional formations. Stefanski was assistant to head coach Childress for three years and then promoted by Childress to assistant quarterbacks coach in 2009. Leslie Frazier replaced Childress with six games remaining in 2010 and retained Stefanski as assistant quarterbacks coach through 2013. Mike Zimmer replaced Frazier on Jan. 14, 2014 and made Stefanski the tight ends coach. Two years later, Stefanski was coaching the Vikings running backs under Zimmer and by 2017 he was the quarterback coach. Stefanski was named interim offensive coordinator with three games left in 2018 and got that gig full-time in 2019. He is credited with helping Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins post a 107.4 passer rating in 2019 while throwing 26 touchdown passes and six interceptions. The Vikings finished 16th in offense and 11th in points scored in 2019. A coach has to have something special going for him to survive two coaching changes. Stefanski and assistant special teams coach Ryan Ficken are the only holdovers on Zimmer’s staff from the days when Childress was the Vikings head coach. “Having worked with Coach (Zimmer) for a bunch of years now, I understand him and he understands me,” Stefanski told Vikings.com last January when the “interim” tag was removed from his offensive coordinator title. “I think we both understand what gives defenses problems, and (with Coach’s background as) a defensive coordinator, understands really well what’s hard on a defense.”..."
  19. I hope it's because of our new coach. and our new gm. and assistant coaches. But more than that, despite the Browns not meeting up with their own hopes, as well as ours being dashed, again, (dammit)... I was thinking a bit about Redwine as a starter, and wondered why I didn't hear his name more often. But...next year, I believe he will be a major part of the reason they made the playoffs. New coaches, etc etc...but these players have serious HEART. Like Redwine:
  20. Well, if it is Saleh, he's an excellent guy. Muslim...I don't care. He is just a terrific regular American guy. His brother was nearly murdered in the Towers on 9/11. I don't care about his private politics, whatever they are. https://www.si.com/nfl/2017/06/06/robert-saleh-49ers-defensive-coordinator-arab-american if it is Stephanski... that might very well be a great hire. Helping bring the vikes to the playoffs... I'm good. I believe it's the players they had that held them back. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/browns/2020/01/12/cleveland-browns-kevin-stefanski-hired-head-coach/4448319002/
  21. I honestly don't really care - whoever it is, I just really, really hope he is the right guy to guide this team to success. Seriously. IMDO, I have serious reservations about McDaniels, Daboll, but if they have grown into the "right head coach" for the Browns at this point in time, so be it, and I won't complain about it.
  22. Well, given a choice between McDaniels or Daboll.... I'd pick Kris Richard as my next head coach. I don't get why he didn't get an interview with the Browns. Did with the Giants... at least, hope he ends up with the Browns as an assistant coach.
  23. OMG. LOL. Now I can go make some cowboy coffee....
