  1. works with squirrel great. greatly. ...really well.... our tuna glod is the deluxe macaroni, cook it up, mix the cheese packet with a can of tuna fish or two...(we prefer water) and a can of mushroom soup. Back in my AF days eating on the cheap, I added frozen peas. Wife doesn't like em, so I never did it again. Also, awesome over bisquits. However, I was always trying to do the perfect bisquits and could get it. Then, my Wife ordered me some soft white flour - "White Lilly" is the brand name. Oh, my - the recipe on the bag - best bisquits in the whole world. That's homemade. We like the southern buttermilk grand style you buy in the stores, too.
  2. Our quarantine area is here at home. If it was more dangerous, it would be out in our woods in our tent.... assuming we can leave our cats home for three days at a time with food and water....
  3. local stores here are restocking pretty well - less panic buying. Most folks are stocked up just in case anything like this ever happened. But now it has. We should all be grateful it isn't a lot worse.
  4. the cigar thing always annoyed me. That was a disgrace and didn't help people at all. But he quit. and has been right about politics for years.
  5. Generally, folks around here are fine going to the grocery for necessary things, but when I went, only a few cars here and there were on the road. Friends call and check on us, we do the same. Big concern is the elderly - niece's mother-in-law has health problems and is in her later seventies, and our farmer neighbors - they are in their early eighties ....our friends' Mom - she's in her late eighties.... Most folks use hand sanitizer before and after they leave their car, use a cart at the grocery - the stores have wipes to clean off the handles.... neighbor's kids who adopted us as honorary grandparents, lol, are thriving having school at home. Most folks are just being careful til it blows over - which everybody knows will be weeks at least. I'm just sippin hot apple cider with cinnamon added to it. Clerk at the grocery said most all folks have a great sense of humor about it, while being careful, too. The other concern is finances. Some folks are off work. Will they get paid? fall behind on their bills? We're very glad out economy was booming before this drastic emergency hit - it will bounce back strongly. Back in the depression days, my parents grew up on farms - they always had all the food they needed, communities came together. Truth is, they were unaffected by the depression - except for travelers who stopped in for a little help - they just heard about the depression. I'm planning on a huge garden, to give produce to all our friends if they need it to help them with smaller food bills at least.
  6. the key is to upgrade ...dramatically - the agility and quickness of the tackles and ROG? I kept watching that Maryland I video thinking the Browns offensive line would have trouble making it work up front last year, except for Bitonio and Tretter.
  7. ever make creamed turkey over toast? I don't think I mentioned it here - but it's great. Some add other spices, like sage.... some add peas. Helps make a whole meal out of leftover pieces of turkey. I use 4 peppercorn fresh ground pepper.... https://www.food.com/recipe/mamaws-creamed-turkey-over-toast-145936
  8. all stupid arguing aside, I truly hope and pray everybody here, and all their friends and families, are going to be fine. but it had all better be over by the time we go camping with friends in tenn. in may. lol
  9. this partisan garbage can of lies by the left is sickening. Real America deserves far, far better. Here is Tex's "king liar" ... Joe Biden https://www.theblaze.com/news/politifact-slaps-biden-with-mostly-false-rating-for-claiming-that-the-us-refused-who-coronavirus-tests
  10. I feel terrible, my bad....., but that was freaking FUNNY LOL
  11. dammit, Jblu - that is awful. Seems like a lot of lysol spray would be in order... this is no laughing matter. no "haha" for all the emergency actions being taken. Btw, we were watching TV, and there was a legit discussion on pills - do your own research and consult with your physician - I have no idea if it is a real deal or not - and of course- it might not be the corona virus itself. We also saw where our border inspections stopped big loads of FAKE TEST KITS for the corona virus. All test kits coming to our country are tested seriously for being the real deal. Makes me wonder - how the hell did they make those so fast? BTW, they already have an experimental vaccine to test with - that is freaking fast - will still take months ? for it to be approved as safe, I suppose. Hope you are fine soon, and your parents stay just fine. It's just serious business. and I hope not working doesn't cause you any hardship. 12. why on earth would I be up in arms over that? A. The election is pointless - the dem socialist criminal sombeitches won't win - not even close... B. It makes sense to not have that election - so many people won't show up because of the risk. C. As I showed - the Dutch death rate from corona virus is twice as here - they are letting it proliferate - thinking they will just flatten it out sooner - and be immune...something like that.

  14. "corona balogna" was a reference to the bs of how china lied about the corona virus, tried to cover their arses, quelched (terminated?) whistleblowers, and let it spread all over the globe. I think their lies and denials are bologna, which is the proper spelling. Having suspected most of this time that it escaped from the wuhan biogerm lab, it's hardly accurate to intentionally try to say it means the virus was joke. People were dying.
  15. there was way too much competition for Hooper to avoid overpaying.
  16. here is what I think - The Dutch - about 17 million people. America - over 327 million. 89 deaths. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/dutch-coronavirus-infections-rise-188-130310439.html CORRECTED-Dutch coronavirus infections rise by 190 to 804, deaths double to 10 ****************************************************** I think their idea would be more appropriate for a common flu if they had to try it. But obviously, the corona virus is a very different deal. Bad gamble. USA 2.75% death rate Dutch - 5.88% that's percentage of population, unless I made an erroneous.
  17. sad for his family - I think the truth will come out more and more before Nov. Now he wants to end oil production and get a million cars off the road... and what do the rest of the millions and millions of cars do for oil? buy it from iran or the russians? https://www.theblaze.com/news/joe-biden-wants-to-completely-end-us-oil-production-remove-millions-of-cars-from-american-highways
  18. same in russia - universal gov health care. not good. HEALTH CARE IN RUSSIA | Facts and Details factsanddetails.com/russia/Education_Health... Health expenditures per capita in the 1990s: Russia spent $250 per capita on health care compared to $4,000 per capita in the United States. 20. that is outstanding. and sad for our country that it has come to this.
  21. so, how are all the homeless supposed to stay home??? eh? ????????
  22. your complaint about links. Some of us link to experts - the elaborate explanations are the point. You said you won't respond to links, but that makes us, non-experts, have the job of explaining further than we are able to elaborate on. So, we link. you don't like that. What is wrong with those links, outside of the fact that you aren't an expert either? eh?
  23. yep - kleenex, believe it or not, are a big problem. They don't degrade like tp does. That is straight from our plumber. He was in to figure our our problem with the stink from our bathroom sink. Turns out, it was the removable core in the new hot water heater. those aren't compatible with well water.
  24. a simple lie requires much information to explain the reality of the lie's failures.
