Really cool. I called my ccw instructor friend. He and his neighbors are just fine, his family has plenty of food - they stocked up for years in case something happened. I suppose being in Special Forces for 4.5 years, he's seen a lot, and that is why, but never asked him. Friends in the neighborhood are calling around, wondering if anyone needs anything. It's a concern. We're all electric, but we could cook and heat just great with our fireplace insert...although, the blower is electric, I'd have to install solar power and a battery reserve... or a good generator. Haven't done either one. I'm thinking about it again when all this is over. Gun sales are brisk - I think it goes back to "desperate times call for desperate measures"... I expect eventually, some instances of crime will happen. But buying a gun without training is seriously bad when you are new to guns. When I picked Josh Jones after a trade down about five spots, it was that surely Thomas and Wills would be gone. From what posters have posted about the new offense the Browns will run - the offensive line has to be able to move, keep their balance, and be pretty smart. Seems that trading down a bit and getting Jones - I thought I would get hammered on that one right off the bat, lol..was the perfect choice of "best available" that still fit the bill for the Browns. Well, you're relatively new here, Tour. I'm an old hand at being harassed for just being conservative from the old days. I got into with Sheply back then, because he was emotionally unhinged as a poster. He was "terrified"...and "frightened", etc etc etc. just because I politically disagreed with him. I just got to the point where I got back at him for his crap. Back then, "which came first, the chicken or the egg" was easy to discern. Not so much now. You and yours stay safe, be careful and healthy - we'll all get over this.

Our dream trip is going out west - camping along the way. we love tent camping, but buying a small camper seems to be the right thing to do - for air conditioning, etc. Or, we wait to do that til next year. A big camp out a bunch of us go to in Sept - there have been several cancellations out of fear. Temporary life changer.

Very classy, Tex - it takes a crisis sometimes, to remind us to not take so many things for granted. We have close friends who are fairly liberal. And wanted nothing to do with the idea about prepping just in case, and Pres Trump. Now, they spend over 300 bucks on food in the drive through at the grocery, a very popular drive through - and texted to me she is so sadly stunned that this could happen here. Our neighborhood is generally making sure everybody else is ok. Our niece and family live in Midland, Texas - they didn't have it there - but that was a week ago - hope it's still true. Pretty perceptive to cancel her trip up here the week before things shut down. Wife's Dad in assisted living - going on 98 - says he gets bored, but then walks down the hall with his walker and talks to all his friends. No visitors allowed - packages are disinfected, etc. No cases there. They don't eat together anymore for now, their meals go to their rooms. They are doing well. We dropped off groceries again to another friend - had a hip replacement surgery three weeks ago - they stay in home quarantined... Let's all just hang in there. I truly wish everyone and their families are just safe from all this. I'm even concerned for Woody's well being - his house is only about ten miles from a virus epicenter
