  1. Trading down out of the second is a very bad idea, imho. I'd be happier using a third and ? to trade back up into the second. I think we need to get our lb and safety in the second. If our lb lasted til our pick in the third, I'd do a happy dance all around our farm.
  2. the next three picks, two in the third round are priceless. In my stupid mock, I drafted Kyle Dugger and Logan Wilson with two picks in the second round after a trade down. Which, btw, I thank the Cleveland Browns and God for Wills being there at 10 !!! You add Tiam's Jeremy Chinn, who I hadn't even heard of back then, lol, I think there will be a run on safeties - McKinney, Tiam's Jeremy Chinn, and Kyle Dugger (in that order/..). I think one of those three will be a Cleveland Brown. Then there's Logan Wilson. Some mocks have him in the second, some the third, even to the Browns. Me, I would be tempted to trade back up into the second round to be drafting Logan Wilson. Then there is Malik Harrison, him too.
  3. Well, what is missing is breakfast. After all the wondering, watching... and we got out LT ! I wanted some pancakes with bacon. Naturally, I had to wait til this morning. Then, I decided somebody else might like a Browns draft next morning (or Saturday) easy recipe for pancakes, homemade. 1 1/2 cup flour. any flour, the original recipe called for cake flour. I use a soft southern white unbleached for 1 cup and 1/2 whole grain buckwheat. 1 1/2 Tbs baking powder 1 Tbs sugar 1/4 tsp salt 1 cup milk 1 1/2 tsp vanilla 1 large egg 2 Tbs melted butter All dry ingredients mix, add the rest - mix. I mix by hand with a fork...Now, I keep having it be too thick - so I add a little extra milk to make it a bit thinner. I grill em on my Cuisinart non-stick grill on 350 degrees. Add butter and real maple syrup and cowboy coffee, and some bacon I cooked yesterday... I'm good. Makes several small pancakes, or about 4? larger ones.
  4. Thank you. as most of the time - the left keeps jabbing at Pres Trump by falsely taking anything completely out of context to be able to try to have a point. The "rest of the story" gets them quietly hopping to another subject...and they do it again.
  5. Joe Thomas knows well what it takes - this is a great pick. I have no idea how hard? it is to flip to the left side, but Wills has been working on it all off season, says it's going pretty well. He plays with awesome leverage and is very strong..and when he pulled to the left I was surprised. Oh, boy we'll have a real LT ! ****************************************** https://www.bing.com/search?form=MOZTSB&pc=MOZI&q=wills+nfl+draft+interview NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah mocked Wills to the Cardinals at No. 8, the second tackle off the board behind Tristan Wirfs at No. 4 to the Giants. “Jedrick Wills is just a natural knee-bender who’s very explosive,’’ he said on a conference call. “He can get himself in bad positions and find ways to recover with his athleticism. I think he’s got left tackle ability. I think he can kick over there no problem, and he’s somebody in the run game that can uproot players. Again, just very explosive, very athletic player who I think he’s a top-10 pick in just about any year in my opinion.” Mike Renner, draft analyst for the analytics site profootballfocus.com which is valued by the Browns, ranks Wills third behind Thomas and Wirfs, but praised him effusively. “Wills allowed a pressure rate of 4.0% or less for the second straight year in pass protection, and he was dominant in the ground game,’’ Renner writes in the pff.com draft guide. “His run-blocking grade of 90.1 ranked sixth among FBS tackles last season.’’ He called Wills “one of the most explosive and agile offensive tackles you'll ever see. That's a winning combination at tackle in the NFL. “The battle for the most impressive highlight reel of any offensive lineman in this class is a hotly contested one with Wills being right in the mix. He's got the physical tools to execute any block you could conceivably ask him to make. While his feet and hands are still catching up in terms of pass protection, Wills proved this past season that he's ready to run block in the NFL. His ability to crush a double team then take a linebacker for a ride is special for a college tackle prospect.’’ Joe Thomas has Wills ranked as his No. 2, slightly behind Becton. “Overall, he's the guy who is the most NFL ready, and would clearly be the #1 guy if the ceiling for Becton wasn't so high,’’ Thomas tweeted this week. I see him as the most sure-fire offensive lineman in this draft. His movement skills and suddenness are impressive for a college player.’’

  9. I've never been to one - I might technically be able to (73-77), but I have fine insurance, and there are a lot of guys who need it a lot more.

  12. I understand your objections - but it's research worth doing. I know a lot more about chemo that you think. And research into a kind of light that could be used inside the lung - is fine by me. We are talking research here, not application for cryin out loud.

  17. so, another attempt at ridicule when the rest of the story negates it and puts the reflection on the liberal poster who just wants to bash Pres Trump. That's TDS, folks. and chemo and no kind of light can fix it - not even the truth.
  18. actually, it's dumb to not think outside the box. as far as light - UV light is a possibility. Why not. It is common for liberals to not know what they need to know, but still think they know ti all and ridicule ideas. *************************************************** https://www.webmd.com/cold-and-flu/news/20180212/can-uv-light-be-used-to-kill-airborne-flu-virus-#1 HealthDay Reporter MONDAY, Feb. 12, 2018 (HealthDay News) -- As a particularly nasty flu season rages across the United States, scientists have found a powerful new disinfectant that makes "light" work of the virus. Researchers say a certain spectrum of ultraviolet light -- called far-UVC -- easily kills airborne flu viruses while posing no risk to people. It could offer a new, inexpensive way to eliminate airborne flu viruses in indoor public spaces such as hospitals, doctors' offices, schools, airports and aircraft, said the team from Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. The disinfecting success of initial experiments still need to be confirmed, said lead research David Brenner. But he believes "the use of overhead, low-level far-UVC light in public locations would be a safe and efficient method for limiting the transmission and spread of airborne-mediated microbial diseases, such as influenza and tuberculosis." ********************************************************** as far as "injecting a disinfectant"... ever hear of chemotherapy? https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK8119/ Chapter 52Chemotherapy of Viral Infections Erik De Clercq. Go to: General Concepts Basic Mechanisms Antiviral drugs specifically inhibit one or more steps of virus replication without causing unacceptable side effects. Approved Antiviral Drugs The approved antiviral drugs and the viruses and diseases they treat are amantadine and rimantadine (influenza A virus), ribavirin (respiratory syncytial virus), idoxuridine and trifluridine (topical treatment of herpetic keratitis), vidarabine and acyclovir (systemic treatment of herpes simplex virus and varicella-zoster virus infections), famciclovir and valaciclovir (oral treatment of varicella-zoster virus infections), ganciclovir and foscarnet (cytomegalovirus), and zidovudine, didanosine, zalcitabine and stavudine (human immunodeficiency virus). Future Antiviral Drugs To overcome the limitations of current antiviral drugs, more effective compounds are being developed that allow greater inhibition of viruses, greater selectivity for virus-specific functions, and fewer side effects, and may avoid emergence of resistant mutants. Main Targets for Antiviral Drugs Specific events in virus replication identified as targets for antiviral agents are viral adsorption, penetration, uncoating, and viral nucleic acid synthesis as well as viral protein synthesis. Specificity for infected cells may occur when virus-specified enzymes (e.g., thymidine kinase-induced by herpes simplex virus or varicella-zoster virus) activate drugs (e.g., acyclovir). Limitations of Antiviral Drugs Limitations include a narrow antiviral spectrum, ineffectiveness against the latent virus, development of drug-resistant mutants and toxic side effects.
  19. https://sports.yahoo.com/jedrick-wills-transition-left-tackle-110953662.html Jedrick Wills: Transition to left tackle “going pretty well” Josh Alper ProFootball Talk on NBC SportsApr 23, 2020, 7:09 AM Jedrick Wills as the favorite ahead of Tristan Wirfs to be the first offensive lineman off the board on Thursday night and the two players have something in common as they embark on their professional careers. Both men played right tackle in college and are likely to be switching sides once they hit the NFL. Wills’ coach at Alabama Nick Saban said he believes Wills has the “physical abilities” to make the move and Wills shared how the process of preparing for a potential move has been going.“It’s been going pretty well,” Wills said, via Cleveland.com. “Of course it’s pretty much on my own now without coaches and everything, just preparing for this draft process. But for the most part, it’s been a smooth transition and I’m doing what I can on my own for now until I actually make a team and then we’ll see what their judgement is on it.”Wills didn’t share Wirfs’ explanation for the difference between the positions — “It kinda feels like wiping your butt with your other hand,” Wirfs said recently — but did say that there needs to be “a whole different set of tools that you have to use to play on that side” of the line. Wills may not know what side of the line he will be on in his NFL debut, but he shouldn’t have to wait too much longer to know who he’ll be playing for when that moment arrives.
  20. a friend in NC texted me, and asked who the Browns would pick while they were on the clock, I said "Wills, but he plays RT" ? and he said Wills has been working all off season to switch to LT. that is kinda obvious, I suppose - and it's an outstanding pick. I thought for sure he'd be gone to the Giants, but they picked Simmons. It does occur to me - what in the.... happened to Josh Jones? he's THAT raw? Houston is THAT bad an offense? red flags show up? I'm surprised at that one. I liked this draft - much faster. Seems pretty consistent that character played a good part of the first round prospects drafted. A lot of great stories... I'm not going to be surprised if Wills starts at LT - he's a great pick and has already been working on it. I'm good with that. Second round- no idea. Safeties/lb/wr is my guess - might Mckinney fall to the Browns?
  21. moochelle was already president for eight years - she can't run again. lol
  22. Hopefully, our Supreme Court gets more Real American Judges on it. 5 isn't enough. I'm tired of their lockstep "only liberalism is our guide"
  23. I understand. To me, Winfield doesn't get past the Giants at 36 overall. I figure he won't be there for the Browns in the second round. Ashytyn is intriguing - I think I like him better as a cb, who knows.
