  1. it isn't a matter of believing - it's that there are two sides of the story, even more sides. Nobody said anything about no torture happened ... that is just crap. Veterans said THEY never got the special favors that mccain did. He was their prize, and he went with it. REGISTERED 3,320 42,657 posts Gender:Male Location:Ohio Interests:Traveling, fishing, camping, gardening/farming,groundhog/squirrel/turkey hunting, ***BROWNS*** Report post Posted 12 hours ago if it's all "so true", and it isn't... explain why for all his years, mccain went way, way out of his way to conceal information about POW's, and Vietnam experiences... https://www.theamericanconservative.com/articles/mccain-and-the-pow-cover-up/ Read this article. especially this part: "Many stories have been written about McCain’s explosive temper, so volcanic that colleagues are loath to speak openly about it. One veteran congressman who has observed him over the years asked for confidentiality and made this brief comment: “This is a man not at peace with himself.” He was certainly far from calm on the Senate POW committee. He browbeat expert witnesses who came with information about unreturned POWs. Family members who have personally faced McCain and pressed him to end the secrecy also have been treated to his legendary temper. He has screamed at them, insulted them, brought women to tears. Mostly his responses to them have been versions of: How dare you question my patriotism? In 1996, he roughly pushed aside a group of POW family members who had waited outside a hearing room to appeal to him, including a mother in a wheelchair. But even without answers to what may be hidden in the recesses of McCain’s mind, one thing about the POW story is clear: if American prisoners were dishonored by being written off and left to die, that’s something the American public ought to know about."
  2. LOL. No, that would be bad form (but it does make me Happy, Happy, Happy)
  3. round four. I think..... Harrison Bryant, TE. Tough, mean blocker, catches the ball
  4. he's 75 years old, why would he lie? You explain why john mccain fought to hide the facts about Vietnam and POW's. you tell me why he belligerently sassed the relatives of POW's and belittled them. Why he hid the truth legally, and fought to keep it secret.
  5. found a great day three link - remaining prospects https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/sports/story/2020-04-24/2020-nfl-draft-best-remaining-prospects

  7. his own vietnamese guard denies mccain's story. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2008/oct/14/uselections2008-johnmccain
  8. it isn't nonsense. and it was written about years before Trump, years before obaMao commie. https://federalobserver.com/2018/05/john-songbird-mccain-exposed-by-vietnam-vets-and-pows-as-a-liar-and-a-fraud/ John McCain Was a Horrible Person and Horrible Senator and ... https://libertarianinstitute.org/blog/john-mccain... Aug 26, 2018 · He was bad on Iran, bad on Yemen, bad on Korea, bad on Russia, bad on everything. Now he’s finally not anymore. Now he’s finally not anymore. There’s really no way to give justice in a short summary to the amount of damage McCain’s presence in the U.S. Senate has caused for the people of the world, especially in the era of this century ...
  9. I know - if you click on it, it will get ...near...full screen.... still it would be easier if I went and got my reading glasses....
  10. meanwhile, buttichump took Kyle Dugger ahead of the Browns in the second round. DAMMIT YOU EGG SUCKING WEASEL. they traded up ahead of the Browns. In my stupid mock draft, I reached for Kyle Dugger in the second round for the Browns. and, DAMMIT, the bengals took Logan Wilson, my lb in my stupid mock draft, at the top of the third. and the Browns traded down. My guess is, they had their eye on Logan Wilson. After my trade down in the first, I had a second later second round pick, and got Logan Wilson just before the third round, because I didn't think he'd be there in the third. Dammit, bengals. LOL. dammit.
  11. it's going to be fascinating? to see how it plays out. Off hand, Harrison seems to be the better pick. It is easy to find profiles that rip Phillips. "not every down player", "lacking demeanor", "tight in hips" but "sure tackler, wraps up".... but these Browns wouldn't have done it if they didn't know better. I guess reality is in the eye of the beholder? Here is one write up that tells a different story - https://thedraftnetwork.com/articles/lsu-lb-jacob-phillips-is-the-complete-package "Conversely, a “complete package” player has all of the tools on and off the field that you look for at their position. One of those players in the 2020 NFL draft class? LSU junior linebacker Jacob Phillips. At 6’4, 235 pounds, Phillips has excellent size and length. As a run defender, he uses his physical gifts to his advantage extremely well. His combination of length and play strength allows him to have more control at the point of attack, get off blocks quicker, and have a wider tackling radius — all of which you see Phillips do consistently. As you may already know, cover skills and the ability to move in space are of high importance at the linebacker position in today’s NFL. This is a great example of two things with Phillips: 1) His range in coverage; 2) His 6’4 length, going back to my previous point. Having this kind of athleticism and length in coverage can make a linebacker extremely disruptive at the catch point, and in turn, extremely valuable to a defense. Phillips’ athleticism and cover skills allow for him to be an asset on all three downs." ************************************************************************** then, there's Malik: https://thedraftnetwork.com/player/malik-harrison/jwjnJK4KyJ worst trait - "man coverage ability" .... Yep - I think the Browns knew better after all - we just have to look deeper into it. The Browns know more than we do, eh? at least, THESE Browns.
  12. the left controls. it's what they do. You find these liberals in pta's, churches, homeowner's associations, definately all over our education system and politics. They demand to have their way. And let them be a big group - it's like ' you say "heil hitler" or be shot down. all about control. Like the michigan gov. you won't hear woodpecker complain about her. not one chirp.
  13. woodpecker wants to control everybody - we all had better be posting according to his wimpy woodpecker "PC" controls, or he will throw a birdbrain hissy fit.
  14. as much as I've been a Jones fan - after Thomas... (and now Wills)... nope. The quality of wr/lb/s is too solid in the second round - the Browns need lb help. I can see McKinney, Tiam's Chinn and Dugger. I'm just not that big a fan of Delpit and (Ashton) Davis. Winfield is outstanding, but I have trouble with him only being 5'9". I know, "honey badger". One of those three safeties, and if Logan Wilson could just be there for the Browns in the third round... that would rock.
  15. when all the facts come in ACCURATELY, if he didn't actually violate the chain of command etc... and someone else leaked it for whatever reason... then it isn't the captain's fault it became a clusterfook. I will say this - how many men were allowed to go back and forth to Guam, while this virus was becoming a problem? I don't doubt that Jag will get to the real story.
  16. yep. Refuses to host "the phew" because Hasselbeck dared to mention praying for America over the virus.... so tired of the KKK kind of hate fest the liberal nutjobs have going on. https://www.theblaze.com/news/meghan-mccain-blasts-hasselbeck-prayer-comment
