  2. Oh, please. That is ONE PLAY???? lol. He's looking right at him, I guess he was shocked he just got open, and threw him the ball? Do I need to mention how rapistblonker didn't see his TE totally wide open in the end zone in a game? https://www.si.com/nfl/browns/browns-maven-features/4-thoughts-on-browns-ravens " Wide receivers cannot get open " You know, Chris Collinsworth was a wide receiver right? Without Landry - wr's can't get open. End of most of the passing game. ******************************************* https://www.brownsnation.com/cris-collinsworth-says-one-browns-position-needs-to-step-up/ Collinsworth pointed out that when Jarvis Landry is injured or covered, Mayfield has struggled. The Browns need a second receiver to step up especially against the Ravens because Collinsworth believes the Ravens will be all over Landry. ********************************************* Tiam - the Browns will draft a WR high. for the same reason - that the Bengals drafted Ja'Marr Chase fifth overall when they already had Ty HIggins and Boyd. And it has meant everything to the Bengals offense. Same qb.
  3. Garrett Bush ? Whines about Baker? and last year doesn't matter? - Baker played great last year. Baker's injury is the matter. Nothing matters to him but blaming the qb? Even Doug Dieken was commenting on how the Browns wr's - NONE OF THEM WERE GETTING OPEN.Perhaps Garrett won't be happy that the Browns will? draft a star wr next year. Your contention is stupid. Most of us want to WIN - and they WON LAST YEAR WITH BAKER. You Baker haters think the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, when you can't see over the fence. I'd rather listen to Dieken talking about how no wr's were getting open again and again, than Garrett Bush. lol
  4. Baker should sit out the last game - the playoffs chance is over. Get his surgery, come back next year. With an upgraded wr group. And Baker, btw, was sacked once - and the sacker fell on top of him full weight, on Baker's injured shoulder..... no call. Too many things going wrong this year. Oh, and they need a punter.
  5. bs, again. Baker - 2 ints, rapist 1 int. Baker - TWO TD's, rapist - ONE TD. Baker - 185, rapist - 123. Yards per attempt - 4.9 for Baker. rapist - 2.7. Baker - qb rating 53.1. rapist - 56.2... and that's Baker playing hurt, which, AGAIN, I would have not let him play vs the squealers the first time. Both qb's played poorly. But, near as I could tell - the squealers had their oline intact. At the worst possible time, Clowney did a STUPID move - tossing that shoe. Game killer right there. I wish Hudson was more physical, and would have latched onto Watt like Garrett gets held all the time, just to watch him get called for holding every time. That is how it plays with dirty nfl referees. Garrett gets past a tackle, the tackle keeps grabbing him from behind, NO CALL? what is going on? I think most of us know. At least the refs didn't miss very many squealer pass interference calls.... Sure looked to me like the refs were not going to throw a flag on the squealers at a critical time - for illegal motion, but the Browns were like WHAT? WHERE's THE FLAG! THAT WAS OBVIOUS ! then the ref was embarrassed, I guess, and threw the flag. My opinion - that holding call on Tretter was bogus. and the one on Teller was bogus. Every game - any time a defense plays our wr's man to man, they shut them down, often....except for Landry to gets double covered, and who can still get a bit open here and there. It isn't enough. Hey, Doug Dieken even said it at least twice - "NOBODY OPEN". It seems that defensive linemen for the squealers knew right where the passing lanes would be. Baker usually has to zip the ball to a wr that actually does get open quick, no time to arc a pass.... and those got batted down. Come on, Baker isn't THAT short. So, Baker and rapistbooger threw a bone-headed, really stupid int. Stafford thew two of those in the first half, last game. I hate losing. But replacing Baker is stupid - draft a qb after the second round, I'm good with letting him sit and grow. But the Browns didn't have both starting safeties, their staring left tackle, their #2 rb, Owusu didn't have any backup healthy, no Troy Hill, Ward went out of the game - was questionable to begin with, Takitaki was questionable.... A. J. Green played a nice game as much as I could tell. Everything went wrong this year. Harrison made a STUPID play on the sideline in that game, Clowney made a stupid play in the squealer game - no room for stupid plays. Felton is too slow to return kicks, it seems to me. The onside kick was too soft, easy to come up and snag. Biggest thing I keep noticing - is opposing lb's play close to the los most of the time - and charge the los at the snap. Seems to me, they don't respect the Browns passing game - and just want to stop Chubb at all costs. Moral to the story is - the wr group needs a #1 star wr. That is why the Bengals drafted Ja'Marr Chase. and what a giant difference he made. and still, the Browns could have won the game. dammit.
  6. because the Browns run on first down so much, even when defenses stack against it.... and Baker got hurt, and they don't have a #1 wr...
  7. Yep - a wind-driven alternator. Out west, all across S. Dakota, etc, the speed limit is 80. That would spin mini-windmill blades pretty good. Of course, one traffic jam and....
  8. Sorry, mjp - you certainly have your struggles with your health. But you have mental toughness that helps you keep on with good food. Take care.
  9. IT's a deep wr draft - I won't be surprised if the Browns go best player - but Wilson IS that good. He may not even be there.
  10. ah, but you told all of us when we were handing your ass to ya, that you were a mod and couldn't put anyone on ignore. I made a great point. Explain why the Bengals drafted Chase #5 overall, when they, per your nonsense, "didn't have to, because the qb can make any wr's superstars". lol. run and hide again. "no mas, I can't admit I'm wrong because I'm a mod" Hoorta. Take your little ball and run all the way home. Answer the question. Or, admit you conveniently quit.
  11. Unbelievable. and, the Rams defense leaves the middle of the los WIDE OPEN... don't they watch film at all ???? lol Huntley runs right up it.
  12. I guess he wanted to be famous for incredible advances in virus research, even if it ended up killing human beings, like he and they tortured and killed dogs in their research. Sick, dangerous behavior. Can you imagine communist china saying "see how our designer covid went all over the earth? Well, don't stop us from doing anything we want to do to take over our part of the world, or we will send another one to you that is lethal and dies out before it spreads out of your country" Something like that. 13. So, you don't want to answer why, per your own trolling, the Bengals drafted a Ja'Marr Chase when they already had Burrow, Boyd and HIggins. Run and hide, but the truth is, you can't handle the truth about it. btw, you said before more than once you can't put people on ignore because you are a mod. So.....................................
  14. Furthermore: I just looked up these JUST NOW: https://publish.one37pm.net/blog/strength/jamarr-chase-draft-pick/ "In addition to his individual productivity, Chase has provided kindling for a suddenly explosive offense. Whether it be causation or correlation, the Bengals’ offense has surged this year with Chase, averaging 27.0 points per game, up from 21.3 points per contest in the 10 games that Burrow started last season; with a 5-2 record, the Bengals have already won more games than they did in either 2020 or 2019. " " Skipping a Step At some point the Bengals have to skip a step. They got their quarterback last offseason, but they still have plenty of holes to fill. Pairing Burrow with a star receiver like Chase in an offense that already has Higgins, Boyd and Joe Mixon is exactly how to win in today's NFL. Of course the offensive line has to improve, but if they don't address Burrow's weapons, we're going to be talking about wide receiver being a need a year from now. "
  15. Furthermore, Hoorta: https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/why-bengals-picking-jamarr-chase-over-penei-sewell-was-a-watershed-moment-in-nfl-history/ " How would Chase help Cincinnati's blocking? The thought -- Burrow's connection with Chase would catalyze quicker releases for the rehabilitated quarterback, thereby limiting the frequency he'd get hit by pass rushers. And it has. Through seven games, Burrow's average time to throw is down by a few hundredths of a second, and he's been pressured less frequently than last season. Burrow's passer rating on Chase targets? 135.4. "
  16. NOTE TO HOORTA: https://www.bengals.com/news/inside-the-pick-why-the-bengals-opted-for-ja-marr-chase But what's not left to chance is that the Bengals' struggling long ball now has one of the best deep receivers to ever play in college ball. Not only that, they already have his quarterback. Callahan says the Joe Factor wasn't the factor. It was one of them, but not the decider. "It ended up he's a guy that can make a difference in our offense. He's so explosive," Callahan says. "To me, he's the best receiver that's come out in the last three years. He's worthy of that spot where guys like A.J. and Julio were drafted. It's hard to pass up that kind of talent." ************************************* So, they drafted Ja'Marr Chase, 5th overall TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THEIR OFFENSE, when they already had HIggins and Boyd. Because............those two terrific players - needed a star wr. A deep threat. The Browns need a deep threat #1 star wr now.
  17. I'll only reply this one last time to your broken record Hoorta..Blah. blah, blah... You really miss a lot. Or, you deliberately cherry pick part of a discussion - you do the same dumb thing on the other forum. You want to compare Higgins and Boyd with HIggins and Peoples-Jones? That's fine. I like it. Here is the problem: Why the hell do you think the Bengals drafted Ja'Marr Chase, FIFTH OVERALL LAST YEAR IF THEY ALREADY HAD HIGGINS AND BOYD? I'll tell you why, but you don't listen. You just don't want to. They drafted Chase to be a #1 wr, and Higgins and Boyd would have a lot less defensive pressure on them. He's the STAR the Browns don't have. There is nobody to take pressure off Landry and Peoples-Jones. It's a HELL OF A LOT EASIER for you #2 and #3 to GET OPEN when they have a STAR #1 defenses have to contend with. Can you hear me now? Denying it is just dimwitted. The Browns don't have a #1. So, keep denying it, but can you hear me now? I don't think Tiam can deny the affect that Ja'Marr Chase has on the Bengals passing game. So, you just got your ass handed to you again. Maybe you are one of a few that don't get it. Once pouty fake injury OBJ left the Browns, the passing defense only had to concentrate on Landry and Peoples-Jones, making the Browns suffer, and WITH BAKER's INJURY, performance suffered for both reasons. Having a star #1 makes a huge difference. BTW, I think the Browns run a heavy TE offense because they have a running game that helps with TE blocking, and to try to have a passing option to try to take pressure off Landry and Peoples-Jones- but that is not as dynamic at all - compared to having a star #1. You're afraid to answer questions - you want me to send you a mexican hat so you can dance around it? I still look for a Browns win - if the refs aren't crooked. At least dirtbag Jeff Triplett retired a while back. https://www.westernjournal.com/nfls-famous-controversial-referees-retiring/ Cleveland Browns rip refs for 'terrible' pass interference ... https://www.usatoday.com › story › sports › nfl › browns › 2021 › 10 › 10 › cleveland-browns-rip-officials-refs-pass-interference-penalty › 6086066001 Oct 10, 2021Browns rip officials for 'terrible' pass interference ruling, non-calls in loss to Chargers. 20. no - they still refuse to admit where it came from. EVERYTHING they do, is for more control, more power, more wealth, more votes. That is why most of what they do fails, and even backfires - solves no problem - even creates new problems.
  21. After that bowl debacle - I wasn't too far off, I think.
  22. I'm still looking at Jalen Tolbert, S. Alabama. 6'3", 190 lbs...he'll be at the senior bowl. I'm seriously thinking he will be a star. and, a qb. Dustin Crum, Kent State. I noticed him in a game on TV. He's well down the list when I started on my mock draft. But looking into his success.... Dustin Crum, 6'3", 200 lbs. He'll play in the Shrine Bowl. He's the qb that "no one" is talking about. But where to draft him - we'll see after the Shrine Bowl. Here's what Draft Diamonds says about him: https://www.nfldraftdiamonds.com/2020/06/dustin-crum/ NFL Draft Diamonds Scouting Notes: I love big and strong armed quarterbacks. Crum came on the scene late, but man he was impressive. He stands at 6030 and weighs a little more than 200 pounds. He can crush you with his feet and his arm. Overall the Grafton, Ohio prospect is deep sleeper in the 2021 NFL Draft. Many will talk about guys like Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields, but Crum will rise. Remember what I tell you. – Damond Talbot, He stayed in school, btw: https://thedraftnetwork.com/articles/dustin-crum-2022-nfl-draft-stock-kent-state-potato-bowl
