The left wing nutjob slavering lunatics who spent four years. FOUR YEARS, rioting, foaming at the mouth trying every single avenue, including armed insurrection, to attempt to overturn an election are now gaslighting everyone. No, buddy, 2016-2021 never happened. YOURE the crazy one, not us "progressives" One of us never attempted to murder a bunch of congressmen. None of us attacked federal buildings dressed like our heroes, the mujahideen, with guns and Molotov cocktails in a dozen cities. That was YOU ALL ALONG! Remember that ONE incident? Yes yes; January 6th! Don't start mentioning the hundreds of incidents we were involved in! LOOK OVER THERE! Sorry buddy, your credibility is shot, hoorta, I wouldn't take your word on the state of the weather at this point. Cal is over the top without a doubt I've known that for a dozen years but it's not the likes of him that's going to have to be stamped out like fire ants when the war for democracy actually starts. It's the "progressives" whose values are totally incompatable with freedom and democracy. He's a loudmouth and, often, a clown, but people who share your values are a very real and tangible danger to the future of humanity. I just generally want to be left alone and, in return, leave everyone else alone but if I'm forced to take sides...it will never ever be yours.

In Spain we don't make those kind of obituaries, at least not for the average Joe,so I'm thankful of that tradition because I got to know more about Gipper... He might have left us too soon, but he had a plentiful and happy life. Thanks for sharing one part of it with us, Thomas. You will be missed.

https://www.tributearchive.com/obituaries/21400578/Thomas-B-Gipson/Norton/Ohio/Hennessy-Bagnoli-Moore-Funeral-Home The obituary has been updated, so here's one more thing, there is a reception at his sister's house in Norton right after the calling hours on Thursday. I know Browns Board members are scattered far and wide but if anybody's in the area and cares to attend you can email me at bear222@aol.com for details. WSS

I watched this show the other night, only because it was highlighting the Browns. I thought it was done poorly, and didn't really cover as much as it should have. The one thing that struck me, was the interview with D'Qwell Jackson. I kind of liked him when he played here, but after this, he exposed himself as the loser that he really is. He stated.... not in these exact words, that he was proud to play in the NFL, but didn't really want anyone to know that he played for the Browns. Now, we've all had similar feelings at some point over the past 20+ seasons...even if we don't want to admit it. But...this is different. He's a professional football player....we're fans. I've struggled with the question many times..."How can we be sooo bad for sooo long?" It defies the law of averages. I know we've had bad coaches, bad owners and bad players, but you have to admit that there were some teams over those years that really should have done much better, with the talent they had. This D'Qwell Jackson thing answers that question....well, for me, anyway. Any player...whether rookie or veteran...coming to a new team, with that attitude has no chance to help turn the team around. The stigma that became tied to the Cleveland Browns, has determined the fate of the team since 1999. It probably wasn't that strong with the Tim Couch teams, because those teams showed some heart, but lacked talent. Once the losing set in, players like Jackson determined the fate of the team...at least subconsciously. I have to assume a lot of the players did not want to be here from their first day, and played like it. This explains away all the jinx theories, the curse theories, and the "NFL hates us" theories. We can all debate Baker Mayfield's talent and ability to turn this team around, but from what I've seen, I have to think he has not fallen into that mentality, and never will. Thank God for players like Mayfield and Jarvis Landry. \\

The answer is somewhere in the middle of learning a new offense vs. forcing the issue with a WR that needs/demands volume touches and truthfully it is hard to evaluate without a proper sample size. Baker has credited the bye week and having a week to pause and evaluate his play and his play within Stefanski’s offense as a turning point. Believable and plausible. Yet, we have circumstances on the other side Obj gets hurt in the Cincy game and then Baker goes 22 for 23 and leads a game winning TD drive on a dime to a rookie WR. And It appeared there was a concerted effort on some plays when OBJ was on the field last season to give him the ball rather than give what defense gives you ....whether that’s on the play caller or Baker I don’t know. And I do feel that Baker was more relaxed knowing the offense but also knowing he didn’t have this imaginary target line 8-10 touches to OBJ. I am not in the trade OBJ because he’s a detriment to the offense camp. I believe the opposite and I believe that way because Baker appears to have turned the corner 2) he understands the offense better and trusts the player caller and 3) OBJ is still a legit talent that demands respect from defenses and he’s big play capable whenever he touches the ball.

Joe sold us a fake bill of goods when he said that he had a plan to eradicate the Covid Virus. I bet the Biden faithful feel pretty stupid after witnessing his mishandling of the Pandemic.

But, if you play like crap to get your way out of town- it shows. Or cop an attitude- adios. Worst example I can recall is Eric Dickerson literally quitting- in the middle of a game- against the Browns no less... MHO the primary reason the Browns stunk for so long was horrendous drafting. I could give you a litany of the Pro Bowl and HOF players the Browns whiffed on who were still on the board when we drafted. Sure bad coaches and bad management were certainly a factor too.... Yes winning begets more winning, and losing begets more losing. I'll be curious to see if we can bury the Patriot mystique after a losing season...

It won't remain a mystery for long now... Meanwhile we can remember that without the 3-TD game OBJ had in Dallas, we finish 10-6 and miss the playoffs.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. I’m not a believer that Trump was screwed at the polls, but on the other hand it wouldn’t surprise me if the dirty Dems did something underhanded. The hypocritical angle is the Dems were able to launch a year long Mueller investigation with absolutely zero evidence. Yet these same hypocrites are scoffing at the notion that Trump doesn’t deserve the same courtesy.

I'll just point out to you that it's summer again. By Christmas I expect the government will be ordering quarantines and enforcing virtue signal wearing at gunpoint. The problem is they'll have already blown their wad. I doubt trust and respect for the government has ever been at a lower level in this country. I hope it gets to 1790s France level honestly.
