THE BUFFALO ALL AMERICANS PLAYED FROM 1920-1923

 

2. Who did the Buffalo Bills defeat in the 1964 and 1965 AFL title games?

THEY BEAT THE SAN DIEGO CHARGERS BOTH YEARS

 

3. In last year's "Snow Bowl" game between the Browns and Bills, how many turnovers did each team have?

NONE, NOT A ONE. PLENTY OF PUNTS. THERE WERE A COUPLE OF FUMBLES BUT THEY WERE RECOVERED BY THE TEAM WITH THE BALL.

 

4. Name all of the Ohio cities that have ever had an NFL located there.

KIND OF A TRICK QUESTION: THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS HAS NEVER HAD A HEISMAN TROPHY WINNER....AND ONLY ONE COLLEGE IN THE STATE OF ILLINOIS HAS EVER HAD ONE: THE VERY FIRST HEISMAN AWARDED WAS GIVEN TO JAY BERWANGER OF THE UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO. AND FYI, THE UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO NO LONGER HAS A FOOTBALL PROGRAM...UNLESS IT PLAYS IN DIVISION III. PRINCETON UNIVERSITY HAS WON 28 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS. REMEMBER, UP TIL ABOUT THE 1920S, THE IVY LEAGUE DOMINATED THE SPORT. SO THOSE SCHOOLS WON A LOT OF TITLES. AS FOR THE NON IVY LEAGUE ERA, IT IS NOTRE DAME.

THAT WOULD BE: PRINCETON ALSO. THOUGH PRINCETON HAS LOST ITS FOOTBALL PROWESS IT HAS NOT LOST ITS ACADEMIC PROWESS.

GEORGIA SOUTHERN WITH 6 TITLES. SECOND IS YOUNGSTOWN STATE WITH 4.

 

10. Same question as above except for Division II?

NORTH DAKOTA STATE HAS 5 TITLES. GRAND VALLEY STATE IN MICHIGAN HAS 4.

 

11. Same question as above except for Division III?

MT. UNION COLLEGE IN ALLIANCE OHIO HAS 9 DIVISION III TITLES. AUGUSTANA, ILL. HAS 4.

 

12. Name all of the Ohio colleges that have won a Division III national titles.

MT. UNION, BALDWIN-WALLACE, DAYTON, WITTENBERG, HEIDELBERG, CAPITAL.

You forgot Massillon had a pro team too!

The Massillon Tigers were never a franchise in the NFL. They were in some semi-pro leagues or club leagues but never the NFL. There may have been some conversation about bringing them in to the league, but it never happened.
