Then, I said how awful it would have been if Pres Trump hadn;t initiated the outstanding "Fast Track" program, and she turned into that demon in some horror movie. Got "outraged" that I said Pres Trump created the vaccine all by himself. blah b lah, satanic circling head blah, mad as hell, "Trump talked about America's "great" economy and all the world leaders laughed at him".... etc etc etc, "republicans let the virus happen to stop the election", blah blah insane blah. in our home....yep, when I finally got a chance to talk after her sick rant, I simply said "so I take it you voted for Biden?" and she went on another rant. I just got up and walked away. Never knew she could get possessed like that. She's welcome to never come back.... MEANWHILE.... A best friend got covid some weeks ago - she was in the hospital for about 5 days, but she's recuperating at home - we drop off meals for her. However, her husband, not one of our friends, probably not anybody's.... got it. And refused to go to the emergency. for a couple of weeks. Had to call the paramedics, now is in rough condition in ICU. the past week, 42 percent oxygen and 50 whatever bp when he got there... It's still out there, folks. They had just come back from Myrtle Beach.... So, Wifie and I now have both phizer vaccines, I got mine just today. Not a bit sore at all. After this second one, we both were drowsy and I napped for 3 hrs in the middle of the day. Sorry to hear about your friend hope they recoup and gets back to normal. Most Biden's supporters act like that they have no rational argument so they go into rants and temper tantrums just look at woody and hoorta. Glad you got the vaccine Cal 95% isn't 100% but it's a damnsite better than winding up in ICU on a ventilator fighting for your life.... But if I get it- it's not worse than the flu- tell that one to your acquaintance. The latest John Hopkins- for Ohio- the fatality rate is 1.8% a lot worse than the flu. MHO? Pfizer better than Modena a lot fewer reports of nasty side effects. Being sceptical of vaccine that was rushed to the public is not a completely irresponsible position. I don't happen to be an anti vaxxer but I'm not foolish enough to think it's impossible there could be a complication. Can't say if there are going to be any adverse reactions years down the road... They aren't hardcore anti-vaxxers but they have a healthy sense of scepticism. Passed away today. He never took care of himself, always about himself. Had heart problems the last couple of years.... and refused to to to the hospital this time, again, until there was no choice. His thing was gambling - casinos. Always Type A in a bad way. Just a few weeks ago, my Wife called him again...while his Wife was in the hospital, to try to get him to go. He didn't listen. Well I just got my first shot (Moderna) Today!... My next round will be 5/7 at Lakeland Community College where the Browns used to practice... I was in and out in less than 5 minutes...
