As someone who’s owned a tax business, I don’t think your average Citizen can grasp the complexity of the corporate tax code. I’ll go out on a limb and guess that DJT was wealthy before, during, and after his stint as Prez. The people that I would like to witness their tax returns, would be the career politicians (Schumer, Pelosi, and Biden come to mind). Because NY has reason to believe there was tax fraud going on. It's what sent Al Capone to Alcatraz. There would be nothing stopping NY forwarding info to the the Feds if they saw stuff that violated FEDERAL tax laws. Personally- if everything turns out on the up and up for Trump- great. He's sure been reluctant to turn those returns over- assuming he's got nothing to hide. And I'm betting he sure as hell does. And a follow up to Canton. Joe Schmoe isn't going to see those returns- they're part of a Grand Jury investigation. And average schmucks aren't going to be analyzing them either. That will be top level forensic accountants.
