gumby73 2,001 Report post Posted February 19 Have you ever had to tape a cassette together? I did 🤓.. It worked for months with the same skip... They just don't make duets like this anymore... Put a hot chick that rips in backup vocals? I'll listen

I'll listen Ellen Foley gained high public recognition singing the duet with Meat Loaf on the hit single "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" from the 1977 album Bat Out of Hell.[6][7] Although Karla DeVito (who toured with Meat Loaf in support of the album) is featured in the music video, DeVito is lip synching to Foley's vocals.[8]

Plus Jay Weinberg is a monster drummer. Sometimes you just need to get the blood flowing. In all honesty, that song is quite tame.

Considering everything he's done since his first album has been...not good, it's a relief to hear something better might have been produced. As for Juice, aside from some of his freestyles, I found his actual songs mediocre. I can see why some people like him though. Shame how young he went. MLD Woody 1,579 Report post Posted February 24 You should listen. It flows. For Juice, it's similar to me. He just floats on the beat. Very chill.

I suppose that's my issue. The pop-hop "it's chill" being mistaken for serious talent. Freestyles aside, just not feeling it. Closest thing that has come out recently would be Mac Miller. But that's more hip hop with funk and soul added in. Almost like Warren G but, as Montell Jordan once said, lower case G. I'll give the new Kudi a listen this weekend.
