April of this year?  or last year?

If this coming year.....Vegas IS open.     You just have to do the right thing.....wear your mask,  social distance....sanitize....wash hands etc.   You COULD do it.  But obviously, if you wouldn't feel safe about it, that is clearly your option.

About 2 million people in this country have received the shot so far.  Supposedly that number could grow to over 11 million by the end of the year, i.e. by the end of this week.

I am hoping to get it sometime in January.    I am on the list at my pharmacy, but I may also call my doctor in the next day or so to see if she can get me scheduled.

This year

So?  You would win like 800 bucks?   Seems like you got much higher odds than I did on my ticket which was about  25-1.  I bought that ticket  the exact same day as the Super Bowl last year, where I watched part of it at the Orleans Casino and part of it at the end at my resort unit.  So it seems we may have been there the same time.   Which Casino did you make your bet?  Caesar's?

Yes, $800 plus my initial $20 back too. I went to many casino's last year during the SB and most had them 25-1 to 30-1 for the Browns to win it this year. Yes we were there at same time and I went to New Orleans once while I was there. I made my bet right before the SB kicked off at 4 Queens down on Fremont Street. When I saw 40-1 I jumped on it since that was the best I saw the whole time i was there.

While, sure, it was cool being in Vegas for Super Bowl week.....it is actually better being there, or somewhere where there is a sports book on a regular NFL Sunday.  While I was not in Vegas, I was once in Tahoe and another time in Wendover NV...just across the Utah border,  on NFL Sundays.    There you get to see every game being played all on big screens.  You can lay some action down on the games....if you choose.   Actually on those times I only put small bets down on the Browns.  Not on other games.  Still it was cool to see all the games playing out.

By the way:    Does anyone have a clue as to when  Ohio is going to finally  legalize sports betting?    They have had a dispute going on between the Lottery Commision and the Gaming Commission as to who is going to control the system.   I could see a delay if there were some competitiveness associated with private casino operators, but that is not the case.  It is a feud between bureaucrats.  I don't know why those idjits get to muck things up.  The legislature and the Governor need to just decide and then tell the other bureau to shut the fuck up.  Of course, I know that  the Governor  is busy trying to do his best with another situation he is busy with, and the legislature is too busy counting their bribe money from First Energy.   But when this pandemic shit is over with, they need to make a decsion.

OK  I google searched the status of sports gaming in Ohio,  and found this recent update:  Dec. 9th

https://www.legalsportsreport.com/46347/ohio-sports-betting-access-new-bill/

Check it out.

It doesn't really say which casinos will have it, but it likely that the  ones in NE Ohio will:   Northfield, Thistledown and  the downtown casino.

It does say this:      limits the market to one skin per casino.

I have no clue what that is supposed to mean.  Do any of you?

I did an internship there one summer and would often do two game pro baseball parleys. $10 would get you back $36 if I recall correctly. Anyway on one bet I had already won the first of the two games and got an early 9 or 10 run lead in the first two innings of the second, so I left all those big screens I was watching the games in and treated myself to a very nice steak dinner with some of the winnings to be. I came back after all games were done to cash in my ticket and those bastards had blown that big lead and lost by 3 or 4 runs. So my "free" steak dinner cost me almost as much as my losing "win" had cost me. Counting chickens before they hatch in Vegas is a fools errand. Guilty as charged.😂

Nah- the Browns make the game, I'm heading to Florida to hang out with my pal's son in Clearwater. Should at least be able to party outside of the stadium.

I don't know.....are they going to have stuff set up there?  Are they even going to allow people around there?    I am thinking probably not, but that is just speculation.

What is the league....the city/state there going to allow in terms of attendance at that game?      (I will check)

Here is what I found:

The league is now planning for 20% capacity at the stadium, ESPN reports. The NFL has revealed some of its plans regarding Super Bowl LV in Tampa. The league is now planning for 20% capacity at the stadium, ESPN reports. Additionally, fans will be in pods six feet apart and masks will be required........

All of the fan-facing events will go on as planned following safety guidelines, which will allow for Super Bowl week to take on a normal feel despite any lack of normalcy that has come about amid the pandemic.

What are "fan-facing events"?  Tailgates?
