Thanks MJ!     It's nice to see Otto Graham's alma mater in the Big 10 Championship.  It'll be even nicer to see them get rathoused by Ohio State.

Not so much. Game was close

I think ND should be out of the Playoff. They will get blown out by Ala Clem or OSU

I understand that the Buckeyes were without like 20 players on their depth chart.  Not sure about NW.

Fact is, NW is a pretty darn good football team.

Yes 22 didn't suit up but the key guy was part of the #1 QB/WR combo in college football.

And yes too NW can be scary led by their very good HC.   It was a too scary game for Ohio State !

Ain't that the truth!  Couldn't have been more wrong if I tried to be.  I was hoping for the blowout so there wouldn't be any question Ohio State deserved to be in the CFP.  Remaining undefeated should secure a playoff spot.

I meant what I said though about it being nice to see Otto Graham's alma mater in the Big 10 Championship.  I think they proved to a lot of people why they deserved to be there.  Great coaching well reflected by a team that believes in it via the passion they put on the field.  In the end, Ohio State's overall talent (in spite of it being depleted) found a way to help Sermon rush for 331 yards - while the defense forced turnovers and limited NW to 10 points.

It's be interesting to see if they oust a team like ND, who played in a Conference Championship Game against a team they beat (albeit w/out Trevor Lawrence in OT) gets ousted because Texas A&M beat Tennessee Volunteers-to-lose.    I'm not so sure Ohio State would have beaten Clemson yesterday with the active roster they brought to the Big 10 Championship Game.  I hope they're a lot closer to full strength the next time we see them.

Won't happen because they will put East Germany and Clemson 1 and 2.  OSU likely  #3 to play Clemson again.   ND  #4....or maybe Texas A&M.

That’s what it’s looking like.

You mean like A&M got bent over?

Not the same team that played @ Bama the 2nd game of the season after they had barely beaten a bad Vandy team the first week. Far better team now.

By the time they met Florida and beat them they were a far smoother operation.

By that I mean they got bent over by the Committee that left them out of the playoff.

True, but Bama beat them fairly badly too. Ironically Bama won a NC with a one loss team that barely made it in. I would have hoped ND's loss, that was pretty bad, would have moved them out. Or even a 6 win OSU who did not impress over Northwestern. It does illustrate the need to change to an 8 team playoff though.

Actually  Ohio State was fairly impressive.  You had a guy who carried the rock for 331 yards.   A defense that was stout.....all of this while their QB was really out of action with a sprained thumb and who probably should not have been playing.

Plus...here is a clue for you:  Northwestern is a better team than anyone your team played except Bama.   And I did not stutter.   Florida perhaps included, but arguable.
