Here are the Data Points on the Browns vs. Titans  history:

1. The Browns lead the all time series over the Tennessee Titans fka Houston Oilers    35-31.   The two teams were in the same division for nearly 30 years from 1970 to 2001.

2.  Lorenzo White,  who lead the Tits/Oilers in rushing for 1 year also played for the Browns in the last year of his career

3. Kenny Britt and Webster Slaughter each led the Tits/Oilers in receiving for at least 1 year  also played for the Browns.

4.  Bishop Sankey,  who is from here in Wadsworth, Ohio  also lead the Titans in rushing for 1 year.

5. The Following Tits/Oilers  First Round draft picks also played for the Browns:  the aforementioned Lorenzo White...he of the green eyes;  Kenny Britt, and now Jack Conklin.

6. Alonzo Highsmith  who spent some time in the Browns front office  (is he still there?)  was also a Titans/Oilers first round draft pick.

7. In 1994  the Oilers drafted a guy named Henry Ford in round one.

8. The following Hall of Famers were drafted by the Oilers, but never played for them:  Mike Ditka, Charley Taylor, Dave Wilcox, and Steve Largent.  The first 3 were taken by the Oilers in the AFL draft, but those players decided to play for the NFL team that drafted them.   Largent was later, but he somehow ended up on the Seahawks.

9. The Oilers won the first two AFL titles in  1960 and 1961 (behind George Blanda), but have not won a title since then.

10.  The two leading Rushers in Titans/Oilers history are Eddie George and Earl Campbell.
