***Browns VS Steelers GAMEDAY Thread***

Recommended Posts

Baker was seeing ghosts today. Pitt has the best pressure in the league and we are missing Wyatt Teller badly. Obviously we could’ve used Nick Chubb in this matchup. Whole offense has looked shook, and OBJ steps up huge with a speech. Leadership.

I got to say, all the trashing talking about how Ben and Conner suck, and Pitt D being terrible and Claypool being overrated...I ain't buying any of that.

Yeah 2020 Browns!!!! are you watching this team the last four weeks?

having the 'best running game in the league' is a nice and all, but it's a passing league.  You aren't going to consistently win on offense just handing the

ball to running backs in game neutral situations.  And certainly not in this game against the steelers defense- we've run the ball too much in this game, and that's set baker up in second and

third and long.

Running the ball(with running backs) isn't going to be the foundation of any successful teams offense in the nfl today.  It's just not efficient enough, especially against a defense like the steelers.

We're going to sink or swim in these types of games on the arm of baker...thats the way it has to be in todays nfl

We’ve already tried to explain this team to you last month and other concepts.  I’m not going try again today

A strong rushing game can still be a winning formula. 9ers want to the SB with one and Ravens went to a 14-2 record. It can still work. A potent rush opens up the passing game. If the Browns go to a high % passing attack, they will lose much more. Baker isn't really good enough to win like that. In this game, they got to throw a little more as things are, but they still must rush the ball, or Pitt will be teeing off on Baker all 2nd half.

Baker took a shot. He didn’t have any time to get a throw off with how good Pitt pressure is. I’m ok down 17 and getting ball.

we miss Teller rn..

Well, that didn't help things, they needed a drive. You aren't going to beat Pitt by going all pass - too many killer pass rushers.

Panic play calls eerily similar to Ratbird game

OK, you can't NOT keep making 1st downs and think you can beat the Steelers. Sooner or later, they will put together another TD drive.

...

...stuffed on 4th and a foot.

Great field position for Pittsburgh but it's consistent with the offensive philosophy this year

I mean....really?

I mean, did anyone think the Browns could win by scoring 7 points in 3 quarters of play? They needed plus 30 to have a chance.
