High powered professionals exist to make sure that people who deal deeply in commercial real estate avoid paying capital gains tax. But personal Federal Income isn't really the target. Oh maybe your boy Joe will change all that. Maybe they will rewrite the tax code and make it fair for everybody. Except for the left wing billionaires on the west and east coast and the Silicon Valley. You can bet your ass they will still have their loopholes. I paid many millions of dollars in taxes but was entitled, like everyone else, to depreciation & tax credits. Also, if you look at the extraordinary assets owned by me, which the Fake News hasn’t, I am extremely under leveraged - I have very little debt compared to the value of assets. Much of this information is already on file, but I have long said that I may release Financial Statements, from the time I announced I was going to run for President, showing all properties, assets and debts. Maybe I don't love Donald Trump but I'm voting Republican so that's that. But you bring up a good point. A lot of people don't want to pay for crackheads free medical care or generation after generation of welfare or various pork projects from various politicians on either side of the aisle or for new sports stadiums or carrying on endless wars in the Middle East and elsewhere or public schools Etc. There's always something that somebody doesn't want to pay for and too many politicians scrambling for tax dollars like chickens at feeding time. Furthermore when we run up against the ass end of the budget and they vote to extend spending I would not do it. I'd shut down the government and if it were within my power just order a 1.5 percent cut right across the board. Everybody every program. But we won't. And when it crashes we will all point fingers.
