Orion
I'm going to guess that we'll finish 8 - 8. To have playoff hopes we'll have to win all the games that we're supposed to win...and we'll have to take 50% of the Possible & Friggin' wins...and we'll have to win one other. IMO 1 Sun, Sep 13 @ Baltimore 2 Thu, Sep 17 vs Cincinnati Must Win 3 Sun, Sep 27 vs Washington Must Win 4 Sun, Oct 4 @ Dallas Possible 5 Sun, Oct 11 vs Indianapolis Possible 6 Sun, Oct 18 @ Pittsburgh 7 Sun, Oct 25 @ Cincinnati Must Win 8 Sun, Nov 1 vs Las Vegas Must Win 9 BYE WEEK 10 Sun, Nov 15 vs Houston 11 Sun, Nov 22 vs Philadelphia Possible 12 Sun, Nov 29 @ Jacksonville Must Win 13 Sun, Dec 6 @ Tennessee 14 Mon, Dec 14 vs Baltimore 15 Sun, Dec 20 @ New York Must Win 16 Sun, Dec 27 @ New York Must Win 17 Sun, Jan 3 vs Pittsburgh Friggin' Win It's hard enough to estimate a season record WITH preseason games.....

How many times have we seen a rookie QB look great (going against vanilla defenses) in preseason to looking like deer in the headlights once the season starts? cough* DeShone Kizer *cough Mitch Trubisky *cough. Orion
41 minutes ago, Dutch Oven said: Then again, sometimes the preseason can throw you off too... Yes but no. When I watch our preseason games I evaluate how our regulars do against the opponent's regulars. After that I'm watching our lower tier players to see if any of 'em flash...and if it's just 'in the pan'. I would be watching to see how our new coach calls plays, handles the clock, TO's red flag, etc. I'm not interested in our score or number of preseason wins. I don't think week 1 will go well, but it doesn't take a genius to predict week 1 struggles for the Browns. Like I've said before, it's pretty much the worst case scenario for starting the season. Overall not too bad. How ya been MJP? Oh yeah I hear you Coyote, I spent 25+ years of my working life in the steel industry -and- the first 11 years from when I was 18 on up at the USS Youngstown Works THOSE were the best years of my life.....the "hot, dirty and dangerous " years but I wouldn't trade them for anything. I finished up wearing a tie in a second floor office.....great job but not freakin' exciting if you know what I mean. .......but not hot cars, motorcycles and the old Youngstown mill bar nightlife, shooting some stick, gambling joints and strip clubs all gone now....... (but oh yeah, back 1969-1980 for me WHEW ! ) ......* edit add, in 1981 USS closed up all of their mills in Youngstown, i moved on to GATX manufacturing railroad tank cars, largest producer in the USA right there in Masury, Ohio. They shut down in 1984, got out of manufacturing cars, they instead bought them from non-union shops down South, my job went to Chicago in the Loop, 19th floor. I DIDN'T GO, left them and moved on all still here in NE OHIO. America continued to manufacture less, buy cheap overseas where possible. I hope they continue to wake up again now. Wow that ended up being a lot. ❤️ The end, im retired. ●~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~•● Now back to the Dutch's 2022 Browns Questions and more 2022 excitement. And the wife retired in 2018 and were living the quiet retired life. Cooking and puttering in her herb garden. Nice. ........but the trip down memory lane was nice, enjoy yours now.
